There is a powerful message behind what Raekwon is telling us here. No matter who you're affiliated with, company, friends, family, whatever, you need to be your own man at the end of the day. I'm not saying you should be sceptical and never trust no one, all I'm saying is if you don't care about your situation no one will. No one likes to have responsibility because it puts people under pressure but that's what molds us as people and builds character. I command Rae on not being mad at RZA and Devine because he understands that he didn't do the precautionary stuff to prevent it.

It is an effective way of answering questions, to rephrase the question and build off of it shows you understand the question and you're engaged in the conversation. Also buys time to think without there being dead air or saying "umm" repeatedly.
