@christopher399
@christopher399 2 жыл бұрын
My guess is that Ghostface Killah is the most passionate. Method Man has literally said that he doesn't enjoy rapping as much anymore, and that he prefers acting. Ghostface Killah is the only one who has been very consistent with album outputs. Raekwon to a certain degree, but not on the same level.

+silence in. the even black Rza said it himself he put method man on the front because he was by far the best looking and most handsome member to attract the female and juvenile audience, just like GZA was better lyrically for white college kids, ghost and Rae were more rough speaking fat gangbangers for the corner kids to listen etc. Etc. Point is meth was light and fly, and just by pure coincidence he was super charismatic and could spit hot fire.

Let's not forget that GZA also had a solo track on the album, "Clan in the front", but that kinda happened by accident. You see, Gza was tired of always going last on the records because nobody wanted to follow Gza's verse, so he demanded that he would go first on this record, but nodoby wanted to follow his verse, so it became a solo track instead....true story :)

The thing about head-strong individuals is that they don't like authority and consider themselves their own 'masters'. If RZA came through and said he was the leader, that places him in a difficult position - and he realized that. That's why he went by The Abbot. He could still maintain a level of creative control while avoiding a lot of the heat that comes with pronouncing himself the leader. It was just clever people-management.

Yep what happened was Dogg Pound, Red, Meth, and Inspectah Deck had already did the track, then when Pac got out he heard it was and like "i gotta have that on my album". It originally was supposed to be on Dogg Pound's album but Daz had lost the track temporarily. That's Kurupt's side of the story anyway.

See I heard that it was Masta Killah that was Cappadonna's replacement, not Meth. I did hear tho that Cappa was the one that taught Meth how to rhyme.

Very smart to push whoever was getting the most buzz instead of getting caught up in their own heads. Success with the general population is about supply and demand. This is a basic marketing concept and they bodied it.
