ODB's wild cadence and eccentric style gave the illusion that he was nuts but if you really listen to his lyrics the guy was borderline genius. Many of his lyrics were comical and over the top but he also spoke a lot about Islam and social issues. He just did it in a way that always made you smile. He was great for hip hop and will be forever missed.

#busa89 He was a street nigga with 13 children... A drunken master on crack. But he spoke some things out , that's true. Watch his interview in probation after jail. Clean, nervous but real. Totally different from the mad 'Dirty' we know.. He says himself it's the 1st time since age 13 that he isn't drunk or something else! Pretty schizophrenic clip. Vest ist when he tells to use condoms and he uses condoms....after that he has that typically ODB laughing!! Best scene. But he doesn't feel comfortable with that talk at all..Just watch it!!

He wasn't the same after jail, all the assaults he took, always drug tested on parole, he was a broken bored man. One of the greatest ever to do it, the VH1 documentary about ODB called ODB on parole is a special documentary. It's better to burn out than fade away. R.I.P ODB, Love from the U.K. England. LEGEND. The thing about drugs is no matter how much you love someone, that love won't get them clean. They either get clean for them selves or die. Don't get it twisted dudes get high in rehab and prison. RIP ODB

ODB was older than all the other members besides RZA and GZA so no one was going to tell him what to do. But ODB's style is what inspired them all to be crazy, individuals and entertaining to this day.

I Respect "Wu-Tang-Clan for the 'BROTHERHOOD" they represented in the loyalty of their music never let the females infiltrate the message...when it comes to "Brotherhood" it allows men to raise the children and keeps the females in check!

You gotta let a grown person be a grown person and as such you have to deal with the consequences. You can't MAKE anybody do anything. You say your two cents and if they still wanna do what they do that's on them and sometimes unfortunately that consequence is death. RIP Dirt Mcgirt
