This is an amazing interview. The two most giving beautiful souls I know! Vanessa has gone through so much (severe POTS + CFS, loss of a loved one), and her recovery and transformation story is so inspiring. This beautiful lady has dedicated so much of her time to help others for free - including friends of mine who are now living their best life and inspiring others. She is so authentic about her journey and doesn't just paint a perfect picture which is so validating and reassuring. Her new Haven monthly membership is a wealth of nervous system regulation resources. It's very affordable, less than a tenth the cost my former naturopath's rate per hour. There is a whole section on tapping and belief work, which other practitioners charge a ton for. She also has a library of visualizations, somatic practices and more. There is so much goodness here. She is the real deal who has been to the deepest depths of chronic illness and loss and is a beacon of loving hopeful light. Vanessa you are awesome and so special! Raelan you are also the best!

Amazing and powerful story! I relate so much to many aspects 💛 Literally in my many years of illness, there were times I felt like "if only I had gone the career path of FBI/federal agent, I would have been more fit (ie 'too fit to get ill like this!')", or even "if I had been Canadian/Canadian health care system, I would have gotten better, sooner!"....etc. Wow. Thank you for sharing such an in-depth, multi-faceted, recovering story, Vanessa! @yourgratefulguide. Thanks always to Raelan ❣

Thank you to you both for this testimony and for HOPE. I particularly resonate with the faith aspect and bringing in the somatics to brain retraining. I’m new to CFS and immediately looked for answers and found these stories and researched and found DNRS and started it two months ago. I’m using it with my faith, somatics and nervous system work. Raelan I hope to be on your recovery story waitlist one day. I have faith we can all recover from chronic symptoms ❤

I have had ME/CFS for 18 years since contracting it at 42 years old from the Epstein-Barr virus. Also several other serious illnesses, 75 trips to the emergency room, several hospital stays and two emergency surgeries. I have struggled to hang onto the resemblance of my life before the virus but now I find myself at 60 years old with no family whatsoever and alone living in an apartment. I rely on one stranger who lives next door to me to check on me to make sure that I have not died in my apartment. I've had to live through the loss of 20 people and several animals passing and have very little money to pay my rent. I'm trying so hard to deal with past trauma that has set me up for this kind of life but how do I do that when I am suffering through excruciating trauma every single day. I don't even talk to people anymore because they want me to explain to them why my life is the way it is. I've been explaining for almost two decades now and I'm done trying to explain to people who can't see past the nose on the end of their face. I know I sound bitter and I'm really a happy-go-lucky person but I just can't anymore. I used to have a beautiful home, a dog, a family, a car, a job, a sister, a mother, a brother, a husband but it is all gone now and I am alone.

Have you read the Bible, learned about Jesus. I stood at a gate at age 34 and asked God was he real. Within weeks God made himself known to me threw the holy spirit. Within weeks my then boyfriend and and I got married, we came under the conviction of sin. We are still following Jesus. Life isn't easy for anyone, but our faith gives us strength and endurance and hope.

You don't have to be religious to talk to God or to believe you are surrounded by angels, spirit guides, passed over loved ones AS for religions there are many to try also. Just a few suggestions as you seem to want to make that connection. Another idea is to go see a medium. It's OK whatever you choose.

I am so sorry you lost your father❤ This could be my story. I just got married, i was moving into my first home. In between I travelled to Turkey. I was already showing signs of a dysfunctional ANS, but i contracted emoebiasis. And i was severly ill and that was the final strike. I got pregant suprisingly. But i was scared to death. I felt so guilty for being pregnant being chronically ill. And god amswered my prayers. I actually got more functional thanks to my pregnancy.

@yourgratefulguide

I hear where you’re coming from. I actually coached for FREE for the first year. I also offer FREE sessions to many in the community. I answer questions for FREE and offer FREE resources. I have one of the lowest priced resources out there. I do my best to make it affordable. But, we all have bills to pay. I have a family to support too. It’s the reality of it. And when we give and give, it’s only fair to receive. I’m not here to convince you of anything. But I’m grateful to be able to support others and take what I learned and share it. It’s my passion. Thank you for watching and being here, all the best to you on your healing journey. 🙏🏻
@Unforced-LC
@Unforced-LC Жыл бұрын
I see it this way: If she wouldn’t charge at least some money she wouldn’t be able to provide resources altogether because she would need to work somewhere else full-time. I hear ya with the heavily overpriced recovery programs, that is unethical imo. But it‘s only natural that she charges money for high-quality resources/coaching. Otherwise that would be self-exploitation.

Yes exactly and it is taking money from other broke not everybody has money in this situation, if I would ask for help for free I would not get it 100% and if I did she would not pay attention to me... It is hard to see this trend as a fellow sufferer, I don't have thousands of dollars to pay for this I can barely manage every day...
@samanthadalloo8232
@samanthadalloo8232 Жыл бұрын
Try Ashok Gupta's program. It is very affordable. No one can really work for free. Helping patients like us is a long and individualized process. This is why conventional medicine can't do it. How can other people support themselves if they work for free? These videos are free and there are other free resources out there. I know this illness is grueling...I am living it. Many out in the world need help in one way or another and we can't help them all. I would love to feed all the hungry people in the world....seems like we could just send them free food and the world will be okay but it is not possible. Some starving person some where is probably saying why can't they send me food, they have so much. We may be well intentioned but things are more complex than giving/receiving free help. I do hope you find help and healing.

God bless this woman and everyone watching. I'm nearly 7 years into this hellish illness. Biggest battle of my life, the first few years where the worst 24/7 suffering. I am a born again Christian and I knew trials tribulations, god's disapline etc. I thought God was punishing me as I was going through so much suffering none stop. Like everyone else that goes through this. I now realise, there is a purpose in our suffering. We all know that deep down. I am different now with so much growth and strength. Mine started with a bacteria and trauma. I am learning to drive and lots of hope of better days ahead. Thanking God for all the good things in my life. God bless all people suffering, please turn to God and never give up.

Thanks so much for this interview, ladies. 🥰 Well done Vanessa for all you are doing, and for making such a great recovery! It must have been so scary having a deadly parasite and ending up so ill! 😥 I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved father. 🙏 Thank you for sharing your faith; I have a strong faith also & have a lot of people praying for me. 🙏 I can totally relate to your reaction to the mind-body connection. I dismissed it a lot of the time. I also stopped watching the recovery stories for a while because so many included brain re-training, which didn't resonate with me. (Especially when one lady had an almost overnight recovery using one program!) In recent months, though, I have become convinced that brain retraining will help me, & hope to report back with good results in the future. Much apprectiation to you both. 🧡💛🧡
