Godbless this woman, so strong and resilient. I was losing hope after 8 years of this illness but will keep saying that recovery is possible now. Its so so hard.

For people who experienced trauma as a child, and as a result repress emotions, the way out of their symptoms is explained by the Mindful Gardener's interview on youtube with Sam Miller about processing emotions. Its life changing. Sam overcame CFS and 70 FND symptoms ❤

PS. A truly long PS - sorry. I am not being paid by Dan Neuffer (ANSrewire):), despite what it seems like. But in my opinion he has the most comprehensive program around, addressing just about everything your expert guests talk about (not the poison:)), in a logical, informative, supportive and motivational way. So... since he works on so many things (e.g. mind/body, movement, nutrition, toxins, personality, goal setting, finding good doctors) one can go to one place (his extremely well-paced program) and learn what may or may not work for you. His program has been around a long time, over 12 years I think, and others have captured bits and pieces of what he suggests, but so far I have not found anyone who does it as well as he does. FWIW, I am an 80 year old retired psychologist who was bedbound at the start of my illness journey two years ago. I was at about 30% when I started his program eight months ago and am now at about 75% and have met some important milestones (e.g. packing and going to the beach for two days). Also - Raelan, you often tell guests they might not be able to be too specific about program details as they are proprietary. Dan does not have any requirements about sharing, except maybe not discussing others personal information. Of course you wouldn't be allowed to copy the printed material. Soooo - I believe one could describe the type of exercises he has us do. Some of the programs, as a matter of fact, have seemed to pull ideas from his - often without attribution. Don't know if any of this is useful - but your channel certainly is:). Thank you many times over.

Ambient music is next level calming for the nervous system. The most natural ambient music like wind through the trees or ocean waves or a babbling brook with birds are amazing. It's like a nervous system massage. Just make sure you have ear buds in to reap the full benefits. The possibilities are endless... Just experiment. Your body will know what it likes.

Insulin resistance ... It is linked to every disease and as someone who experienced every symptom he described and SO much more (multiple NDEs) I finally pieced some things together and went low carb after a lot of resistance (even though i am a practitioner) and sure enough every single thing I experienced went away. I then started my research on insulin resistance (88%of the worlds population has it) and deeply understood how it affects us. I literally almot passed out from throwing a frisbee 5 years ago, because my system was so shot and I'd have heart palpitations that lasted for 10 minutes after doing it once. Now I can play all the sports my heart desires. Yes, there is so much importance about changing the way you live, but i live one of the most conscious lives of anyone I know and i wasn't getting better. Low carb doesn't mean no carb, it just means finding what is best for your system after a reset and then understanding what happens to every cell in your body when you have too much glucose in your system and not being active enough to bring it back down which is a vicious cycle for those with chronic health conditions. I couldn't start being active again for about a month after starting low carb but then it shifted.

Excellent interview. Thank you both. Want to "correct" a statement though. The brain uses about 20% of our energy - which is a boat load - but not 80% as Luanne stated.

Have you also interviewed people with chronic Lyme Disease? It’s an epidemic! And symptoms are very much like CFS/ME…or it’s possible that Lyme results in CFS/ ME, Fibromyalgia and autoimmune diseases. I have all the symptoms you’ve talked about here and had Lyme, coinfections, etc. I have been diagnosed throughout the last 22years with Fibromyalgia, an unknown autoimmune disease, MS, Lupus, CFS and more

Does the light technique work outside sunrise? I used to love early mornings but now if I get up that early my symptoms flare a ton and it turns into a high symptom day. Is there a way I can still incorporate this without having to wake up for those early mornings?

YES! The part about medical medium runs so so true for me! I was a huge follower of his and once upon a time it did seem to help (cleaning up my diet which anyone could have told me is helpful) but symptoms were coming back and not going away and I actually got much worse over time, both physically and mentally. I actually directly went from the MM space into the mind body space and it was the BEST decision I ever made. Thankyou for bringing this one up! I get silenced all the time for speaking about this because he has such a hardcore following (which sadly I was apart of) and they really don’t like any negative talk about his info.

My onset was late May, early April 2024. A"mild to moderate". All the classic ME symptoms. Impossible to think, the fog and anhedonia was the worse. Big 3: cognitive issues, Profound fatigue, and unrefreshed sleep. Minor: weak legs, gunk in the eyes, headaches, pain on back side of neck. Sleeping during day and crash days. Througout it, I have had remission days. In September I had 3 weeks remission. For some reason, the last 5 weeks from today I have been in remission. I have no clue why, it's random. It appears the demon is still underneath as I feel fatigue a little or certain light symptoms some days. I have no clue if I'm "recovering" or this is the CFS relapse and remission, that fluctuation be have for weeks. I pray to the gods it's recovery. I am trying high does Thaimine, psilocybin, low dose abilify and Quadracan/L-Carnitine. The Carinitine helps the muscles and the abilify might help the cognition and fog. I still think none of those things are the reason for remission.

Does anyone have resources for teens struggling with ME/CFS?
@marcokarrer5562Күн бұрын
Just one thing I think is often forgotten: In studies 5-10% of ME Patients recover. That sounds like not alot, but with Millions affected in the west, there's gonna be thousands of me/cfs patients who recover. The other thing is, in CFS there are subgroups. With some there is neuroinflammation, low brain oxygen, systemic inflammation etc. and with others there's not. If there's no pathology and its purely a functional disease, recovery is obviously possible and even likely. My problem is then that now there seems to be a trend that all CFS Patients are put into that functional category, which is very unlikely to be the case.

We certainly are the way showers, healing ourselves and our lineages. I am learning to work optimally with my body. I humble myself to the body's wisdom and honour her requirements as she works to neutralise undesirable patterns and traumas which allow the various illnesses to exist in the first place. Interesting when Alysa mentioned working with the sun for healing as I received sun initiations a few times while sitting outside. Very strong pressure from the rays of the sun on the 3rd eye area. This is my second rising and dangerously challenging with 4 close death experiences. Cleaning up so no more heavy baggage but conscious awareness imperative to keep clean.

Well, this video confirmed it for me. Because I am a "yes" on almost all points. I've been struggling to get well for the last 2 years after a HUGE stressful event, and then my life went down the tubes. I keep thinking I'm getting better then I have huge setbacks, then I get extremely angry; I mean I RAGE. I am SO PISSED OFF at my body & brain for ruining my life. I've ordered the book "The Way Out" and I hope it helps me. I'm at my wits' end. I eat so friggin' healthy (don't drink, smoke, do drugs, eat sugar, processed foods, carbs) and I am so flucked up it's driving me crazy. I sincerely thank you for what you do, Raelan.

This is a wonderful story. It reminds me of the work of Louise Hay. I am super fortunate to have meditation training from a very young age. I’m going through a healing now, one of many in my life and they are always milestones in the end. I don’t allow any diagnoses and don’t want to be labeled. Be well everyone 💞

Love this! I can attest to the power of energy and I love her sharing about how all living things have so much intelligence....Trees, ants etc. We should talk to our cells like we talk to our plants that all thrive with love. I believe however that mindset and beliefs hold the power, not the food. If we subconsciously believe all food is good for us then it will support us (I have personally seen this). If we fear foods then they will negatively affect us. It's not about the food or supplements, it's about our energy and our programmed beliefs such as certain food supports my body vs gives inflammation. Fresh foods naturally have a high frequency but we can also raise the frequency of other foods by being in a state of loving them as we eat them, rather than fearing them. Great interview ! What bright, brilliant women you both are.
