Tstorms that won't be the case as all the afterburners individually are normally on full afterburner and as I was there too I could see the slight defect with that left hand side afterburner myself and the evidence was in the pudding because when I was at RIAT a week later they had doubt with the issue.

was not the ebst display Elwyn R's coverage of the display is amazing and makes the display look better then it was. The typhoon was very far away idk why he was but the manouvers were good just too far from the crowd so Hats off to Elwyn R for really good camera work and giving us a better view of the display!

Vulcanrampage I noticed the same at Cosford this year and I’m hoping it’s not at East Fortune but his display is too far away at times! Even with my 300mm lens I struggled to get good shots without having to crop them

Very good, I don't think I could follow the aircraft like you do, also I got a new camera for taking pictures and I got a very good one of the lancaster just as it was landing at RAF Coningsby

The EJ200 is produced by Eurojet which is an international consortium. Nevertheless BAES are the prime contractor for the RAF Typhoon fleet. It’s an availability contract - that means the responsibility of producing available and serviceable aircraft at Coningsby and Lossiemouth is BAES. This includes engines.

@richtea78 both engines are run at the same level when flying unless there is an issue. However, the issue might not be apparent until takeoff, the pilot can still choose to do the air show, as he doesn't NEED full reheat to perform. But youd never see another one with only 1 reheat lit. Methinks this is either a decmu issue or a varicowl issue that's lead to a rev-env condition. (Avionics tech on typhoon)

I thought exactly the same thing...burner isnt as bright. On an f14 or maybe a su27 it might be a problem, with a bit of a thrust difference. but twin engined planes with the jets next to one another i should imagine it isnt an issue.

@@gabrieleruggeri1176 typhoon has never been allowed to go up against the F22 or F35 with full DASS or ACS suite active. To avoid embarrassing the Americans. For years the usa wouldn't let us take tranche 2 or 3 to red flag as the updated avionics and air frame would be unfair advantage. And they certainly dont allow them to use MIDS or Network coms with an awacs sentry. The capability of typhoon has never been shown in full. Public knowledge on typhoon is sparse, misleading and inaccurate for obvious reasons. (Avionics tech, typhoon)

@shaun muppet finder the lightening couldn't keep up with TSR2 on its maiden test flight, running 1 engine. It was fast in its day. But nothing on today's jets.
