Ive traced my family tree back to 1670, my family has always been working class and lived in poverty. They were boatmen, worked building the canals, worked in dangerous conditions at steelworks, fought in the war and helped to build this nation. my last comment would be this. Since gaining independence of more then 60 years , what have these countries done to help themselves ? nothing. Germany and japan did " economic miracles" in ten years following WW2 but yet with that vast amount of natural resources , these african countries did nothing but corruption and greed to themselves. If these countries ACTUALLY did the right thing and improved and were not in the dire disgrace they find themselves today , would reparations be a question at the table of the " privileged black victims " ? ill bet not . One only has to look at Zimbabwe as the perfect example of flawed " after colonization" independence.

If the UK is to pay reparations, so too must every other nation that had slaves. This includes African nations and Asia, not just Western Europe, UK and USA. The fact that people are demanding ridiculous amounts of money for past deeds while slavery is still alive and well around the world is insane. Black Slavery finished in Saudi Arabia and neighbouring Muslim Countries ( Kuwait, Oman, Yemen etc ) in 1962. And the last Country to abolish Black Slavery was Mauritania in 1989 ( Arabs slaving Blacks ). And Black Slavery in the Muslim World lasted 1200 years ( in the West lasted 300 years ). Do someone asked the Muslim World for reparations? 😅😅

What about the slaves of today, tehre are more slaves today in Africa, Middle East, and Caribbean region, but nobody talks about that and only focus of what west has done. What about African shouldn't they pay that tehy enslaved over a million Europeans, or Arabic nations for enslaving Europeans? We only focus on what the western nations have done but never focus on other nations that have done way worse than the western nations And as always Africans have to play the victim card, everyone in the world is to blame for their conditions and not them for anything, even though they can vote, and they vote in people that enrich themselves and then cry to the west like beggar for more money. In the west we take accountability for who we vote in cos those are the ones creating and applying the laws, if Africa as a continent wants to thrive they should do the same cos that continent is the riches in terms of natural resources If this victim mentality continues to plague Africa ull have Africans nations being poor still even in 2050
