I was at one of his live concerts as a child. My mom yelled "encore!" at the end and I was convinced she alone got Raffi to come back out and sing another song. It was magic.

I love introducing my little GS all these old songs. They have never heard them and think I am some kind of a musical genius. We sing Down by the Bay on every road trip. I have one girl who would sing it for hours if the rest of us would let her. LOL! I don't believe for a second that kids have changed all that much. They may face a different world but they still want all the same things we wanted as kids. They mostly want a little attention from some one who is willing to care about them. Peace!
