I have heard this many times. and reached.the conclusion that Rafi as always is perfect in the subject of singing. Although only first part Asthaie of these songs have resemblance and rest Antras of the songs are totally different.....yet Rafi has proved his perfection which is unquestionable.

Here I as a music knowing person talk the perfection in terms of music grammatical perfection in respect of that only one line which ressembles (the Asthaie). Rest the other parts of both the songs have no resemblance in respect of compositions. Rafi has his own melody and himalayan heights in the range of singing under the directions of Indian music directors and similarly Elvis has his own merits.
