Meisterwerk mit Ausnahme-Qualität: Das trifft es tatsächlich. Auch bei mir hängen da einige Erinnerungen an meine Jugend dran. Ich hatte da noch ein paar Jahre auf mein erstes Auto warten müssen. Aber meine Auto- und Fahrzeug-Liebe war da schon voll ausgeprägt. Und ich hatte da schon viel gelesen über Jochen Rindt, Jacky Ickx, Graham Hill, Juan Manuel Fangio...die Liste ist endlos lang. 🙂 Wenn man hier reinhört, den Rhythmus, die Klänge auf sich einwirken läßt, könnte man fast meinen, man würde in einem Ford GT40 oder Chaparral sitzen und den Nürburgring umrunden. Wie wohl ich es kaum glaube, daß ich es weiter als bis Aremberg schaffen würde. Im günstigsten Fall. 🤗 Oder: Mulsanne-Gerade im Sonnenuntergang, beim 24 Stunden-Klassiker. 🤩 So rein von den Impressionen her.

The stereo on this and their other songs is superb. Great thunderous drumming giving your bass reflex speakers (and headphones) a full workout. Back in the day having the vinyl record it was vitally important to have the speakers correctly positioned. the graphic equalizer set to optimum sound dynamic quality to maximise sound quality and best stereo effect. So when you heard the racing car it would feel like it has just driven right through your living room!
