RAG RUG MAKING WITH TASSELS | Shaggy Rag Rug Tutorial For Beginners | Didsbury Art Studio

Hi there
I decided it might be fun to use up some old fabrics that I had and make a rag rug. I've switched up the hessian fabric base shape and added tassels which I think create an unusual design. Let me know what you think!👚👕😻
What do you work as?
After doing my Textiles degree I did my PGCE teacher training at Goldsmiths, University of London to become an Art and Design Secondary School Teacher. Currently, I work in a hospital teaching art part-time to mainly 16 -18 year olds. In addition, I teach art in my studio on Saturdays and I give textile workshops to schools. I set up this channel in April 2020 after being furloughed during lockdown but soon realised I really enjoyed designing, creating projects, filming and editing my videos....so if you'd like to support me please subscribe! Love this. Can definitely see this as a garment. Layla is so beautiful, love that you always stop to kiss and cuddle her 😊. Would love to see some videos of you embellishing/upcycling some plain clothing like t-shirts etc. Curious what you would come up with as I like what you do with fabrics
