Raga Darbari Kanada by Aarshin Karande (for Pt. D. V. Paluskar) | Guru Smaran | Shri Rama Bhajan

AARSHIN KARANDE, senior disciple of Mewati Gharana luminary SANDEEP RANADE "NAADRANG," offers a rendition of Rāga Dārbarī Kānadā on the occasion of Pt. D. V. Paluskar's birthday (May 28th).
This devout bandish was composed by Pt. Anant Manohar "Antubuwa" Joshi. One of the few live concert recordings of Pt. Paluskar features his rendition of this bandish. Aarshin Karande has presented his interpretation of this composition.
He has been an admirer of D. V. Paluksar's music since childhood. This rāga and bandish are presented humbly as an offering to the ageless genius that is Pt. D. V. Paluskar.
LYRICS:
जिनके जिया में श्रीराम बसे उन साधन औरन कियो ना कियो ।१।
जिन संतन रज का परसा आंग तिरथ नीरन पियो ना ।२।
TRANSLATION:
The author contemplates the virtues of devotion to Lord Rama.
