Here comes yet another Jaipuri delight from Bua. The popular "Nevar Baajo Re" of Nat Kamod. All thanks to those people who preserved and passed down it to me.

Thanks so much sharing this wondrous recording. Absolute gratitude to you ever and ever... Come to think of it all our musical gharanas cherish this iconic bandish! Just listening to the ease and mastery of Abhishekibuw gives goosebumps (his family (with original surname of Navathe) were/ are also our family priests at the great Sri Mangeshi Temple in Goa): There is an absolutely amazing recording of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan waxing eloquently about this bandish in a live programme (what simple words are these but put to what transcendental purpose by our ancestral seers and rishis , the great doyen of Patiala-Kasur gharana says {to Pandit Gyanprakash Ghosh ji , I think} with a palpable sense of wonder in the recording). Here is the maestro in a performance recorded in 1954: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYC6fn-DYsmoj9k Likewise, Pandit Jasraj ji also sings this lilting composition in a Doordarshan interview from the good old B/W days which also features his elder brother and guru Pandit Maniram ji.... look at how they are seen performing together (which only highlights Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki''s flawless performance and it comes across as being all the more remarkable) kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2mtmoemjNyJis0. And of course who can forget that great Diva Kesarbai Kerkar who immortalised this composition too? kzbin.info/www/bejne/oovJY3ymnpWHi6M

@@devanshphadke Here is another scintillating take on the very same cherished bandish from the Agra maestro Ustad Sharafat Hussain Khansaheb: He too speaks about the merit of the composition albeit briefly in the presentation. Enjoy! kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGbalaGmrptjoNE
