I would request the tavil players to listen the rendition of the same kirtana by Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan and Valayapatti Subramaniam. With due respect to both of you, I enjoyed Valayapatti more. I find more noise than rhythm in your performance.

Cannot compare a violin with a nadaswaram that too the violin is recorded in a studio. One can compare with Sheikh Chinmoulana rendition which is the top Golden standard for this kirtana. If you hear carefully they are doing a great job ... this is an open mandapam recording with all noise from background .... Also this must not be the first piece rendered by them , they are equally tired and blowing out their lungs ... We can be critical but to a certain extent ... Listen to Sheikh Chinmoulana and then back here ... you will know the difference
