Sorry to say this. Life doesn’t have to begin and end with competition. It is very impressive to see so many young talents performing so well. Introducing an unnecessary element of competing against each other, unfortunately can compromise on the bakthi and bhavam the two essential ‘Bs’ of the music. Just a thought 🙏

A Close Race among all the 5 in the Sub-junior category. All of them seemed to possess equal amount of Confidence & Reflex in responding to the jury's posers. A thin variation only would have decided the winners, I think. Jurists might have had a tough time in deciding the prize winners. Let's see. Kudos to Anirudh Krishna for choosing a rarely heard Raaga for Thukkada item - Harinaama dharaginiyu in Raagam Sucharitra and singing it fluently (this Raaga seemed to sound like Vaasanthi in my perception).

As a senior citizen 10:24 of 80 yrs I feel these kids are good till they become popular like other senior singers but they succumb to money rather than talent. I wish these children do not follow their seniors sitting as experts there. These kids are really good & I bless them to sing to their talent not for money.
