Holy shit, this is good! This is my first encounter with this band, and they had my brain going through stages through the opening minute or so : First thought - oh, that drummer is killing it! Second thought - a cello! Cool! Third thought - their lead singer has the voice of an angel! Fourth thought - Oh, she growls, too! Then I gave up thinking and just immersed myself in the song.

First of all, Angela Gossow ain't shit... all she cares about is $$$ Alissa is a great vocalist, I can't fault her talent but she needs to be more diverse like Melissa... Tatjana isn't anywhere near that level, she an amateur in my books. As for Floor, I got big respect for her but that's symphonic metal which is a whole different ball game !

Well most people don't realize how akin metal and classical instruments and music are alike. Most of the time when i bring this up i get skeptical looks but when you see those types of instruments used in a metal band, when aren't they any good or don't add a new layer to a song ? Funny enough it was my mom that made me realize it when i was way young and she didn't even listen to metal. Like she told me, the music is good, what she had a hard time with was some of the vocals.
