if you have trouble producing growls you are probably doing it wrong and ir can damage your throat i agree that song is one of the harder ones to growl but producing the sounds is never dificult so be careful

Hearing a song like this performed by a woman is just awesome. I'm digging the synthy thing too, she made this song her own without butchering it like so many others do with covers. I'm hooked for sure! I also recently found that Sabaton does a cover of this song as well, the power metal is SO strong with it too. Another amazing cover of one of Amon Amarth's best songs. Each one is perfect in its own right and the two covers (that I've heard at this point) are done in different styles and the bands make it their own without butchering it. RESPECT!

I have become a fan of Amon Amarth because of this cover. Yeah yeah yeah, after all this time I hadn't discovered Amon, sue me :D :D My wife doesn't like growl at ALL, but when I had her listen to this cover, she was "Oh wow, this is good". I should rephrase that...my wife *HATES* growl (even females growling), but she actually listened to this cover more than once and enjoyed it. I, however, have it playing on repeat in my earbuds every damn time I go out biking. Melissa, I love your 'normal' singing voice, but your growl is OFF the charts amazing!! So a simple man has a simple request- MORE growl please. Thank you very much! :)
