I never got this feeling of oppressive checkpoint starvation from the other games in this style you guys have done before. They've never fault like such a big gauntlet of enemies and mazes before.

I'm guessing they figure this out by later in the series that I haven't reached yet so this message may be redundant. But the "Cotton's revive ghost disappears" keeps happening because Josh run's out of Sanguinariax. It costs 1 Sanguinariax charge to revive an ally.

I have talk our Cult spell quest dam at the gorge and no new spells.. im like 70 and only fireball and conflagration spel plus Buffs spellsl still . thought at gorge ahe had set of spella.. am i missing something or is that still all getting until later..

2:09-2:10 i've watched Shirrako's 6 hour video on LotF (and let me say right now that this is the reason why i know some stuff)... all i'll say is: boy do i have *bad* news for you! 3:15 Joshscorcher's outro. 6:16 precisely what i meant by having bad news for you. 8:35 didn't know there was a way to KILL that damn moth. 17:07 i expected a *dragon as the boss, not a baby giant. hell, i expected 2 dragons. there's 2 places where a dragon would be, and Calrath (the city on fire you're travelling through) is one of them; the other is later on - i even remember its name... a disappointment not to fight a dragon in those 2 places. 17:49-17:52 this is pretty much how i'd like the siege monsters to be revamped: they actually attack you (with Lao having a breath attack - like cold breath, but inflicts Dragonblight. i cannot stress this enough). 17:57 and 19:48 see the scenery? the ruined fortifications? this is why i expected a dragon was the boss (espescially with the city on fire), not the Spurned Progeny. 20:53-20:56 a few enemies are like that - 3, from the top of my head: that blue golem with a face for its stomach, the Ruiner and the Infernal Enchantress. 24:18 and the fact that there was an enemy nearby. 28:25-28:30 from what i remember, Dark Souls with the Moonlit Butterfly; and more infamously, Demon's Souls with the Maneaters - and there's *nothing* to prevent you from falling off that bridge! (you also mention mazes. there's the mines of Stonefang) 30:33 the f@c#?! what?? 31:14 so basically we went from Demon's Souls Maneaters (as in 2 a kind), to Bloodborne's Shadows of Yharnam (3 of a kind)? didn't see that one coming. not related to the video, but i've managed to narrow down what i'd use: the Sin-Piercer Sword, the Partisan Shield and the Sovereign Protector set. *yes, there's the Lightreaper's dragon... but SPOILER alert: his boss is no different in the slightest. whatever you saw him do at the start of the game, he'll still have it - with nothing new. and like before - as well as *getting to the point* - you don't get to fight the dragon itself.

This reminds me of your Elden Ring comment, that given how the games nornally fuck you at every opportunity, any chance to cheap them back is something to go to bed feeling good about. I feel that at some point during this game, you should ask him if he's changed his stance on the subject after this experience. Preferably on a recorded camera for us to see😸
