Just a note: Speed doesn't increase beyond its lvl 1 value. You'll also see this if you check ingame. The Kiranico lists have also been updated to reflect this. This makes Kirin at 13 speed very fast.

Teostra has been my favorite monster for years so I was very happy to get one. That being said, if I did do PVP, I'd probably want to use a Nerscylla or a Ludroth because I like them and everyone is going to be using the meta.

Judging from Kiranico's lists, there's only a difference of around 20% statwise between the weakest monsters and the strongest ones, so gene set-ups are by far still the more important factor in determining how good a monster is.

Said list also has a lot of things wrong, like the speed stat got mixed up with the recovery stat making people think rajang is one of the slowest monsters in the game when in reality he outspeeds almost the entire roster.

Those two definitely need more representation. The only problem with Gore is that his entire gimmick is tied to a status effect that only he has, so its probably too much effort to program in. Although, Stories 1 had the PERFECT plot excuse to put Gore in, but noooooo…. ‘Black Blight’ instead of ‘Frenzy Virus.’ Like, did anyone care about the new monster? I can’t even remember it’s name without going to a wiki article. Plus, the Wings or Ruin kind of resemble that Valstrax jet-engine effect, so Val might’ve also been more appropriate than making *another* Rathalos variant. Such missed opportunities…

Info for rite of channeling. If you have two monsties with the same skill and you do the rite of channeling you can channel one of the same skill into another and it will upgrade it. You can upgrade them a few times.

I have a Seregios named Serenity that is a fairly useful Monstie, both in PvP and PvE. It has Thousand Blades and Shredding Scales for bleed, Savage Roar for that chance to down, Venom Queen for poison, and Merciless Roar for some added offensive oomph. Fairly bulky and very offensive, Serenity can easily pressure her opponents.

They could’ve made a unique model for monstie bloodbath, where it has both horns intact but has the same skills, I mean the monsters that are deviants evolved in the spot, proving that this would be their biggest evolution because other deviants of the same monster the coke that one, as how hellblade always has blast, it is how the Glavenus will finally evolve, so that if they do reproduce, they will pass on their abilities and looks to their next generation

7:55 , i don;t understand, why does the speed/power/tech matter? I put one of each skill on my monster so they can do all 3. Why would it be better if it was power?

Because alot of major non element genes are power, so bloodbath would be getting even more atk boosts through power bingos.

@@dime7267 Oh I see, I usually do one row power, one row tech and one row speed. And I try to have 2 rows of the element of the monster if possible (ice, water, non-elem, etc). I heard a row is +10% then it diminishes quickly so I don't do much the "full of one type only" thing

@@Polopollo75 The diminish happens actually after two bingos. Still it is a very safe way to play. I usually limit myself to two types per monstie, so they get more power for bingos and I have reason to switch up monsties mid battle when a boss changes pattern.

@@dime7267 Not a bad idea. Do you have a list of all the skills, passive or active? The kiranico does not allow filtering, that is a big tedious

Same here, except for Bloodbath. His armor and weapons are great and all but I got Nerg to cover the non-elemental damage :O

I'm really confused why some monsters stats don't match the chart they have been given in the game. Example is Gammoth,game says she has more defense than attack, yet on the site where you can look at the numbers they have in each stat it says that she has more attack on the final level.

Bloodbath being speed for sure was an attempt from the Devs to Balance it xD if it would be Power it would be so broken.. :P

to answer your question i have mizu, blood bath, and kirin before watching this though my thoughts were I got this same platinum shiny egg 3 times in a sr den is it a deviant? it was blood bath and I was surprised at how easily I found a second sr den after that
