He is way above any Past..Present and future Prime Minister's India will ever get..He understood and was a master of Economy..Finance and foresight..No PM can come anywhere close to him both as a Human being nor as PM... thorough Gentleman...No Dramatics or shouting...and assessible to the Press answering tough Questions... Frankly every Indian born before 1990 uptil today will understand his value...Infact He is the best Human being and PM during the 1990 to 2013... that's 23 years as Ecoomist/Fimance and PM.He was truly loved and respected world over...No PM will have the knowledge and experience in dealing with both Foreign and domestic policies....Congress has to be congrajulated for identifying and getting him through the Economic ranks to PM...really loved and only now the citizens world over will get to Miss him both as a fabulous outstanding human being and a great PM....God bless his soul...India will really be in the Dark and feel dejected because he had a persona of a Gandhian very peace loving and great human. He will put all present world leaders way behind...Its sad that he was not treated or given the highest respect as former PM and a man of the highest integrity and Knowledge and Wisdom....instead politically he was derided and ridiculed...now what's the point of Praising him....when it should have happened when he was alive and especially when he was stilll healthy enough...It beats me how dirty; politics is...

Pm material doesn’t mean always in dramatics. He could take key decisions in nuclear embargo with courage though there were political risks. You see now how a minority government is struggling to get bills approved. Corruption is more and open than that time.

a good finance minister and a bad politician and prime minister. Great job of 1991 reforms led by Narasimha Rao- he implemented well, but for 10 years, sat in PM chair and took instructions from a non democratic extra constitutional power of the family. A mixed bag.
