It is revealing what can be deduced from the characters by seeing how they are dressed. Seeing Vicky's dress, we realize Jake's jealous personality. Vickie's clothes are not flashy, but loose so that she does not mark her body, the skirt almost reaches her ankles, almost like a nun's.

Thats because you can't relate to what is happening in this film, NYC and time when "JL" was fighting! Every Ny'er can relate to this movie especially if you were born in NY and around in this time period when Jake was fighting! You just don't get it. Maybe you're too young which is most likely the case, which is understandable coming from kids who were not born around this time period and know nothing about NYC, the era, and especially the Boxer! If you were born and raised in NYC then you're just to young to relate. Every kid I know from NYC relates to this movie in one way or another. The Avengers on the other hand shows just what type of movies you like, I would not waste my time on trash like that but it is up to the individual, nuff said.
