It's almost criminal this video has less than 30k views. I think it's some of your best camera and editing work. I bought a mountain bike yesterday and went for a ride for the first time in maybe 20 years. Thanks for the inspiration.
@dudeonbike8004 жыл бұрын
Ahhh, you rode right past and briefly stopped at DL Bliss State Park (the visitor's center in the rain), my family's camping spot since 1949. Too bad you didn't ride down the road to camp there for the night. You missed a wonderful spot on the lake with 1,600 foot water right off the shore (Rubicon Point). And as I posted earlier, TAMBA is working tirelessly to create mountain bike access for us all on the west shore. Let's hope there's a bicycle TRT connection between Fallen Leaf Lake/Emerald Bay and Tahoma soon! You covered a lot of ground on the last day. I thought you were going to hit TRT again once it resumes for bikes in around Tahoma. That would have added a lot of climbing and hours to the ride (another day). And you didn't head up to TRT out of Tahoe City either. Probably for the best because the first few miles are uphill and technical. The whole section along the north rim above the Truckee River would have added another day to your trip as well. I'm in Tahoe now and FINALLY rode some of this section of TRT yesterday. Will ride more by week's end! Bravo! Great ride, great video, great riders! Thank you!

You did an incredible job showing Tahoe and the local bike trails. Most trails are narrow, lots of rock and as you noted, they can get sketchy quick! That first section off the Hennessy pass road has some nice, easy riding. Boca, Stampede and Prosser reservoirs all have trails and forest roads. And then there’s the Pyramid lake bike path that goes from Tahoe to Pyramid lake. So come back and ride some more!!
