To the Man, the Myth, and LEGEND. A moment of silence, for Master Akira Toriyama: April 5, 1955 - March 1, 2024. And for those who may not have noticed, this speech is also my homage to the re-performed greatest bit of dialogue ever spoken by Vegeta (Chris Sabat) during the Buu saga, where he finally admits that Goku is the best there ever will be. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5nNY2iJrbycrrM

After Dragon Ball was finished and Z started i was so hyped as fuck to see Goku and his child and all other Charakters develop. This series is truly a gift for a child and a teenager to learn about friendship and to never give up! From 1997 to 2000er i was in such a good time in my life and i didn't really knew how good it was. I played even every Game that was coming out until that time. Rest easy Akira Toriyama. Man, I watch dragonball or play one of the games almost every week in some capacity and I always forget hes passed on, and i remember suddenly and it sucks. Such a huge HUGE part of my childhood. As a kid DBZ and Akira Toriyama inadvertently helped me through the trauma, the lonliness, and the wondering if I wanted to keep being around.. RIP to an absolute legend and someone who helped to pave the way for anime and manga for DECADES to come. Who inspired millions of people of all ages to never give up and to keep going no matter what

Akira toriyama's passing, was one of the hardest deaths I've ever had to live through, in 28 years. Dragon Ball Z, has defined so much of me as a person, and it's had such an incredible impact on my life, as I'm sure I speak for many of us. I also paid tribute to him, in my last animation, and he's the reason I pursued art, and creativity. Dragon Ball has always been there, and were some of my earliest memories growing up. Losing him so abruptly, was a very sobering reminder of how precious life is. I got myself a Dragon Ball tattoo, and I've been hitting the gym since March. Across from me is the poster of Vegeta staring down broly from the incredible Legends animation. That project captured the essence of the series incredibly well, and I'm sure Akira Toriyama would have been amazed. It's on us to keep his legacy alive. Dragon Ball is for life, and I look forward to playing sparking zero with you guys, in October. Thank you Toriyama Sensei for everything.
