Used to have impeccable spelling and word understanding and memory recall when it came to words and spelling. So annoying sometimes. Personally i thought Bjorn, Ubbe, and Sigurd in that order were Ragnars only respectable sons. Ivars arc was just bad imo. Went from a Viking history channel show to like kids jacking off to a cripple screaming covered in blood who was a supposed tactical mastermind. Pretty sure they just threw Ivars character under the bus as a purposeful affront to his historical figure or something.

I honestly liked how they mostly managed to balance the characters be "real" and at the same time moved their "public" perception, so they also fit into the greater nordic myths. While Athelstan was kind of an anchor for viewers. Loki IMHO was his counterpart. The god of mischief, never really with bad intentions. But sure to let things be influenced by some randomness
