I would run home from the school bus, throw my bag on the floor, press the power button to boot up my computer and with anticipation repeat the words "come on, come on, come on! Love your videos. You missed one more quest in Izlude around the area you said there is wedding stuff. There is a cat you will add a socket to your cotton shirt (giving you a space to card it) and once that is done there is another cat who will enchant it will some hp and sp enchants. The cat you enchanted your shirt can also enchant the weapon you get when you job change.

I'm an old school player and still play a little bit now, but damnnnnnnnnnnn they babied this game a lot. BACK in the day it was all grinding, partying and making friends to level, etc. The game was originally designed to force people to party because leveling solo was hard to impossible for some jobs. There's a lot of nostalgia for old players lol and it'll never the be same, i used to grind while watching the adult swim :( Like the exp quests to basically skip the novice job didn't exist, even changing to 1st class jobs you had to do some long item collecting quest (i vaguely remember collecting shit to change to a mage lol), and Eden never existed to help burn through the levels. Kinda a shame Gravity couldn't keep it under control or figure out to keep the balance through the years.

I loooooved the job change quests. It felt like I really accomplished something. There's not much satisfaction anymore. I will say the grind kicks in around levels 100+ but... the way the game is right now... unless you're ready to dump a ton of real money into gearing your characters up... you can't solo level.

Wow, I grew up playing RO. It's always been one of my favorite worlds, with so many interesting stories, locales, monsters, and amazing music. Some of my favorite memories were participating in WoE, finding a good party to grind some levels with, or hunt bosses. The job change quests were interesting challenges sometimes. Even solo leveling while doing homework was fun. Is the official server a good place to play? I remember it was plagued with bots, slow to level, and I wasn't really a fan of the 3rd jobs when they got released.

Hello there, I was wondering if you could see yourself creating a video explaining Renewal. I was thinking about going back into RO but I only ever played util like 2010, so it was basically pre-re. However, very much has changed and I honestly have trouble getting into it again and there simply is no video ony youtube talking about what changed compared to back then and what is new, what is kind of "meta" and all that. Like, for example, I do not find videos explaining what is current Max Level (ro wiki obviously told me, but it would be nice to find a youtube video that simply talks about everything new compared to the time official euRO ended). No infos about what are official servers and their sub-servers, all of that stuff. I would really appreciate it and I honestly think such a video would be very helpful to many out there

You walked past the agi up NPCs at 2:30 and 3:38 You also skipped the Academy NPC that teaches you about status effects in the 1st floor right room. You also skipped the cat npcs in Izlude left side from the refine NPC that teach you about socket and stats enchantments.

I'm saving this video to watch later. I played like...damn idk over 20 years ago I think. I played the official server (I actually have an unopened original disc still lol I think I got it from Anime expo a LONG time ago) and then found out about private high rate servers and I think I played one called Senshi RO (was one of my faves but it died) and then I think one called exile RO. So many memories. god I wish I could go back in time.... I'm in the US, Cali, would play on a 2007 Asus lap top...cause I've never gotten a new laptop after all these years haha...will it run on it? What server do ppl play on now? Anyone from the US, old peeps wanting to get back into that have still yet to download it or ppl that are barely starting all over again hmu! I'd love to have friends to play with. I'm thinking of downloading it tonight. I'll watch this whole video later. I'm sure tons of new stuff has been added since I stopped.

Since building my mew pc ive been fancying playing RO again. I logged in to warpportal so my account is still there but then i downloaded and luanched it with proton vpn active and it says those account details dont exist and then crashes. Would you have any advice for this problem? I remember it was a kerfuffle setting it up 3 years ago but once it was done i had a lot of fun, just got stuck at some point. Upgrading from archer job i think.

honestly I went back to it for memory, and it was the most lonely and labyrynthesk experience ever. I'm just gonna leave this nice memory where it is. And great you make a nice guide because the only human I found was as lost as me and we struggled for an hour to get what to do. Also you forgot to tell new player that they need a magnifying glass to be able to see the HUD in this game 😅

I started RO when it first went f2p, 2013 era I want to say, during when Nidhoggur was the endgame. So I have a weird perspective when it comes to this game. I guess I'm like the players who got in at RR of FF14 or during Cataclysm of WoW. I understand what the old schoolers and new schoolers are saying but I'm neither. I don't 100% feel comfortable with the new starting area as it puts people on rails that will ignore much of the world of RO, but at the same time it's hard to imagine other ways to attract new players. Maybe they could have given the basic shop gears instead of these "eden" gears it might have been better. Lance is basically Eden THS but the latter gets stuck with unupgradable penalty which is why everyone abandons them when reaching Class III. Stuff like that. There is a lot to fix for this game but the devs have long stopped caring.

So sometimes depending on the shop the money from the sale will go to your mailbox. It's a letter icon in your menu. Check there!

I look up Ragnarok Online sometimes, I played from 2003 - 2010 and I adored the game. My favorite class out of any MMO was the Monk in RO. I remember Guillotine Fist being the coolest thing ever and their whole aesthetic was super cool. I may have to play again for a weekend or something sometime for nostalgia.

This is actually a really good idea! I get questions on how to play the game a lot. Your can play iRO in Europs but only with a VPN. I do know a free VPN though! Maybe i'll upload a new video on this in the next day or so.

There is a server which I use... I think it's official: Over 4games, it's called "RO Prime". Looks very old school but with Eden Group. Plays like in the old days :D

You're opening the setup application in the Ragnarok folder right? Checking full screen mode should work but also make sure the correct screen resolution is selected.

Grinding in the "how to get a pet" area is a super fast way to max out your basic job to 10. I accidentily did that and i had to wait for my friend to actually do the open world area for quite a while Edit: hes now afraid of butterflies

I never had any luck getting the steam version working. I just go to the Raganrok official websites and download. If you had an old account though all your characters will still be there!

Farming for zeny is always hard. What I would suggest is looking for "buy shops" in prontera. See what items people want to buy from you. Whatever items seem easy enough for you to get... go farm those! I made some easy money selling red herbs to people!

I've never heard of that error before but I would first try a different browser. I know certain parts of the warp portal website will not work in Chrome for me and I have to use Firefox!

Swordsman! For me they are the easiest class to play. I feel they level the quickest too. Then you job change to either crusader or knight. I'd go with knight!

It does! You need to open the setting exe file. It might look wonky but the full screen option is there. As well as different screen resolutions.

You have to create a warpportal account. And in your warpportal account, create a game account. Choose which game you want to create an account to. Create a username and password. Then your good to go

actually if you played ragnarok before, i prefer to skip all of it and get only registered in eden group only and do all quest, thats more faster coz all academy items are go to trash and waste of time for me, and save hours
