A retro carded Thor with the Hammer effect, an extra head with the hair flowing backwards to pose his head back, the 2 sets of hands. The gripping/grabbing hands along with 2 fists, and bright colors would be the prefect version. All at a regular price. We haven't gotten a regular release of Thor or Captain America at the regular price.

I think the vintage release could happen. If it came with all those accessories, it will be the most sought after. However, looking at Hasbro's trajectory, it is more likely to come with bare minimal accessories, and even less paint apps 🙄

I know the 80 years Thor is the best classic Thor ever, But he is pricey and even this is a ''Thor'' clone, I still might get him to use it in my main Avengers display and I don't mind the red eyes because it doesn't bug me as much.

@@theone5306 I've decided to just pre-order the Recently announced Mafex classic Thor who comes with a way better spinning hammer accessory and overall, is superior to the ML version. Pretty much quitting the ML line and getting Mafex classic comic based IM/Thor and whatever other classic comic based Avengers they come out with.

If it goes on clearance (50% +) I might get it to use the body mold to customize a Beta Ray Bill. Not worth the price.

If I found this figure on clearance or even just in fodder I’d swap the brighter red accessories onto the 80th Thor and put the darker, more sinister red accessories onto Clor. I wonder how this spinning hammer compares to the one that came with the Select Thor. They look almost identical save the spinning handle part.

Since I sold my extra 80th Thor I'll be getting this one (also because I'm in Canada and toysrus is charging more then retail so I got mine from overseas) for the Mjölnir effect and to use him as a robot enemy. I'll be putting him with Arcade/Dr. Doom or any other villain that makes robots.

Yes he did. Baron von Blitzschlag collected Ragnarok’s remains after Civil War, and rebuild him at Camp Hammond. From Where, the clone quickly escaped. After being told by Blitzschlag that he was in fact not the real Thor, Ragnarok left to go look for the real Thor, who was back from the dead. They fought, but Thor easily outpowerd the clone and destroyed him.

Just got two of these this week. Wish I'd seen this review first, but somehow I missed it. Between the bait and switch missing hand, the shoddy paint deco and the seemingly deliberate way in which the figure cannot be easily kitbashed, this figure is a huge disappointment. The only reason to get it is if you really, really like the clone Thor aspect of it and don't mind the mediocre paint deco compared to the 80 Years version. I had no use for the spinning hammer accessory and sold it off from both figures that I picked up, cutting in half the cost of this overpriced figure and preventing future damage due to the inevitable warping and weakening that actually using it would cause on my figures.

Marvel Select put about a Thor a few yrs ago that blows this one away…same spinning hammer effect but a lot nicer

Xcorpeo is simply one of the best reviewers out there! I love that he speaks his mind and isn't afraid to call it how it is. It's good to see someone speaking up about Hasbro when they pull a fast one on us. I can't believe he doesn't get more views because the reviews are high quality. He gives you all the info, has great equipment to show off all the angles, accessories, and comparisons. I also love the tips and mods, those have really helped me out. Also, I can't believe someone critized his pronunciations but hey, he went out of his way to do better anyway! Really, well done sir!
