25:24 An interesting thing about the VHS Goblin Osborn head is that the sculptor says it's supposed to be Harry. Makes me think that Hasbro initially wanted this Goblin to be Harry, but then changed their mind and marketed the figure as Norman.

Doctor Doom should have had an alternate disfigured head sculpture and the Doom bots should have been an army builder set. Taskmaster should have had an unmasked alternate head with him wearing his sunshades just like on the box. We also need a new green dress suit Norman Osborne maybe even an alternate angry Norman Osborne headsculpt similar looking to the Green Goblin except for the pointed ears in his eyes being yellow.

xcorpeo, this and the Shield 3-pack were the big recent wants for me. One of my favorite waves was the Bring on the Bad Guys . This trio speaks of the need of villains in Marvel Legends. Updated parts and positive changes in accessory storage and adding soft goods was welcome. Your knowledge of customizing and problem solving is remarkable. The comparisons were expansive. Incredible review.✌️

Any Doom is good Doom, and the taskmaster new head is pretty much perfect. Except hascrap should be using ball joints for the torso.😂❤

Awesome review! I appreciate the close-ups and the mod suggestions. Unfortunately, I think I'll be passing on this set for many reasons. Since it's impossible to army build doomboots using this set, that means it will likely be rereleased eventually. Moreover, all three figures have drawbacks that I know Hasbro will improve on in a single release (Taskmaster with a soft cape, Iron Patriot with a more accurate deco, and, of course, another Doom to ride on the hype of the recent RDJ news) thought I might jump on Taskmaster if I get the chance to get it individually.

I don't care for Iron Patriot because of reasons, But I do like Doctor Doom who looks cool with a cloth goods cape and I like the more choices of accessories for Tony Masters aka the Taskmaster, I may not have this dope 3 pack, But very great review on it Xcorpeo.

I just got The Cabal a couple days ago & im VERY happy with it..& i believe that the white being swapped for silver actually looks BETTER Btw where did you get the soft goods for the Super Skrull wave Dr Doom? Anyways great video brother..im looking forward to more of your Marvel Legends reviews 👑

I got the cape and tunic on Taobao from separate sellers hence the color mismatch 😂 there should be a listing on Aliexpress for the tunic, but the cape is sold out

The Iron Patriot does look better with the modifications. I think I'm going to paint mine with a metallic blue to tone the dark blue armor parts.

From a quick rewatch, I don't think so. Silver/grey plastic is now just changed to white

The head is actually a correct size. They make everyone w huge heads... there heads need to be like 10 percent smaller across the board mostly. Plus he is a man in a suit of armor... if it was the sized to fit the armor as if that's his body size it would look ridiculous

Ordered this set and like th5e Doom and Taskmaster. Iron Patriot looks too much like a Happy Meal toy. Might have to panel line it, like you did.

It’s been awhile but I like all these figs my set will be in today and I am stoked the dark avengers storyline was wonderful I hope we one day get that moonstone miss marvel. I like iron patriot a lot i hope when I have mine the vibrant colors won’t detract from my liking of it. I like the Norman head from the vhs two pack but I don’t know

@@xcorpeo the set came in and the only issue I have is the iron patriot head is a tight fit but for my thoughts he is fantastic the other two are great too it is nice to have an updated taskmaster and the doom is nice too I like the super skrull one better but this is a nice alternative and he can sit on a throne

These look pretty good, but I have qualms with them. Doom should be carrying a broom handled Mauser instead of a Luger. Red Skull carries a Luger. I prefer Taskmaster's original George Perez mask from his debut in the Avengers. It wasn't full-blown Skeletor like this modern look. It was more unique, and I prefer that to just the plain skull look. I also think the head on this looks too big and a little too wide. I think I just prefer an actual original, classic looking Taskmaster more.

Very valid point and definitely a better choice for the Perez Taskmaster since it's the classic outfit. Having two skeletal head sculpts (the other being the Doombot) in the same set also feels a bit odd.

@@xcorpeo Yes, and like you mentioned it's also odd to see one character get a cloth cape, but another in the same set have the old rubber cape. A lot of odd choices being made here. I think it's a set worth having, but I wish it was a bit better on the whole.

@@lostonwallace1396 TBH I'm not satisfied with Dr Doom's cape either. Jada toys has leapfrogged this flimsy cape stage altogether, providing wired capes with their street fighter line

@@xcorpeo Doom also needs a wider cape so you can do the shoulder drape. Much room for improvement, but for Hasbro it is a step in the right direction. They just need more steps forward.

For a 3 pack Doom is seriously lacking. Dull silver plastic, no paint on the straps And clasps by themselves looks bad. I'llbe swapping parts with one of the 3 super skrull Dooms i have.
