Hey Ada! I rarely leave comments, but I really feel compelled after watching through the entirety of your back catalog. I found your channel through my KZbin recommended pitching your The Sims vs. Economy video and was so curious. Your Zillow renos are some of the most fun I've had and it's made me want to build in TS3 again. Most of all, I like how your dry sense of humor compliments your sincerity, especially when you cover more current happenings. As nice as it is to see other YT'ers cover Sims gameplay, I find your inclusion of more thought provoking stuff like housing issues so refreshing. It's real quality over quantity stuff, and I am so very excited to see where this series takes you.

I think it's the 'dry wited-commentary' you add to the wacky situations your Sims find themselves in :) Also, your way of designing house is WAY more beautiful than what I can muster up...

I love Annie's house! An advantage of Sims 2 with a zero start is Sims can meet their Hunger need on community lots with free hot dogs, so the worst part is Energy and Comfort after sleeping on the ground. When I tried it without digging for treasure, a couch or recliner was my best first purchase. A disadvantage is no Level-One jobs begin on Monday so waiting a full day is rough, and terrible job performance! There are so many avenues to getting ahead in Sims 2 compared to Sims 1, which looks crazy difficult! Question: did you choose to ignore Aspiration Benefits to help their motive decay? I guess if there won't be more pregnancies it won't be so dire. Pregnant Sims are pretty hard. Love all your videos, it's so nice to see more serious/mature gameplay without the hysterical/shrieking (exhausting) commentary style that seems so common.

Yeah - I did not feel like the game was on my side in Sims 1, but it seems like Sims 2 just wants everyone to have a fun silly little time. I think both Amin and Annie3 have a couple aspiration benefits that slow motive decay, but the only one that's given me real trouble in this game is energy which neither of them have a benefit for at this point.

Having a doggie pee puddle for more than one day is way too real. I definitely have the most playtime in The Sims 2 and it's one of the only ones where I had a multi-generational town with kids all over the show. It's also fun to slowly replace everyone in town with sentient robots like in my one eccentric inventor play through.

I was today years old when I learned that the "toaster pastry" option for breakfast was pop-tarts. It's more the whole dying thing that I'm trying to avoid. If I let her lifespan play out naturally, she wouldn't have gotten to the top of the career track before dying. Could have let her age up and then used the elixir of life though

@@Ada_Sims Oh that sucks that the Sims 2 life-span is on such a tight timeline. I use a mod that makes it a little bit more realistic. Wouldn't that also factor into the whole comparison too? I know it can't really be compared to the Sims (1), but I do think 3 had a massive improvement on the lifespan (making it customizable). Not hating on Sims 2 or anything, it's great for other reasons.

Have you cheated or used mods? Sims can't be abducted with the cheapest telescope.

I didn't know that - Amin has the Knowledge aspiration and the "Summon Aliens" aspiration benefit. The summoning interaction is allowed on both telescopes.

Thank you for the question. This is just a hobby for now. My work schedule is unpredictable and I'm entering a credentialing/student teaching program soon, so I can't guarantee a consistent upload schedule. If I get to a point where I'm more competent with video editing and can put out decent quality stuff on a regular basis, it's something I would like to do. I do worry about how potential employers/students would react if they somehow found my channel, so it would be nice to have a space to maybe speak more freely. Would also be nice to be able to afford health insurance 🙃

I really, really hate the male pregnancy thing. I normally hace no isues with LGBT stuff, but shemale(futanari for my fellow weebs) genitals and male pregnancy is body horror as far as I'm concerned
