Good for you, Daniel! What an incredible feat! 2 1/2 hours and 50 ragtime pieces from memory! ... just because you were bored and as a hobby! You express many features of what Ragtime welcomes and Eubie Blake encouraged: "Play it through the first time as the composer wrote ... then play it the second time the way you think it should have been written!" Fast ... slow ... Liberace ... JoAnn Castle ... even the piano rolls of Joplin ... tempos are personal and subjective ... you do you ... the "wishers" will always have something to find to nick-pick about ... but if they could do ... they would ... rather than comment. Keep up the good work!

Ok, so I've visited this video about 50 times. I listen to it while charting on my patients, while paying bills, while doing my taxes. This has been the background music of my life. I personally play ragtime myself, only Scott Joplin and a few others (I used to have the Black and White and 12th st. rags in my hands). This video has really made me a believer in learning non-scott joplin rags. Again, thanks a million!

A Zez Confrey darabjai nagyon megállják a helyemet! Ugyanúgy minden más darab... csak így tovább :)
