So could you play through the whole campaign this way ... without coloring on the sheets? Like you never have to look at past games and see what you did?

ok minor minor spoilers, follow by medium spoilers, followed by major spoilers... . . . . . minor spoilers: there's no need to be able to look back at what you'd done in previous levels. but the extra steps you'd have to do during play to make the whole campaign rerunnable would be: 1) cut out the stickers from their sheets and use something to temporarily stick them to the cathedral board and some cards and... other stuff (major spoilers there though) 2) use paperclips to keep track of progress on some card usage 3) you'd need a bunch of dice of the 5 colors to stand in for coloring. (like i did in the intro) even though some of the window designs get really intricate and unique (no simple grids like the regular game) you could still use dice proxies on all of them... they'd just be an odd fit sometimes. for 2p i think the dice you get in regular sagrada should be enough, but you'd maybe need more dice for higher player counts. that i'm not 100% sure about. slightly bigger spoilers... . . . . . . . 4) as the game goes on, game effects can push the dice values to range from zero up to 12 (and maybe even higher). so you'd need something to indicate that when you're writing a yellow 9, so the dice proxies would get tougher to maintain. not sure what to do about this. maybe if you had a collection of the 5 colors in small d12s? 5) sometimes the dice you draft have you check a chart that says things like (note, these don't happen, but it's something similar): "(1-2) square (3-4) circle 5-6) triangle" so you'd need to have a way to note the symbol AND the orientation of the symbol on a given space because it's not going to be a color and a number that can be represented by dice. so you'd probably need to make tiny tiny little post-it notes posts to stick on the dice you put in those spaces, or something like that. WARNING: big huge spoilers... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . i thought about it, and i'm not comfortable posting these publicly. if you want to know, direct message me on boardgamegeek (username rahdo) and i'll spill the beans. this is ruining major surprises in the game, and at the same time is revealing that it would be VERY hard to proxy some of the stuff that happens in the game and would require a lot of ingenuity. so DM me if you don't mind spoilers :)

of course, a lot of what i just said has an alternative: use pocket sleeves or laminate the sheets, or maybe use the "post campaign" pad of window sheets (not sure about that though because i haven't seen if all of the main campaign windows are on the "extras" pad :)

I’ll stay away from major spoilers … I was just hoping with this game to be able to play it twice 2 player (like could with My City) but they said on campaign page can’t really do … so I was curious if how you and Jen started could be kept up so could play it twice 2 player. Thank you so much for the in-depth answer!

well, we were capable after playing once again emulating the first window, but after a few session of the "2nd campaign", things would start breaking down as new features are unlocked which we couldn't reset. i knew all i needed to film the runthrough was that the first window was replayable! :)

So tempting and I was looking forward for this but the KS is so expensive. Now that you finished the campaign, how replayable is it realistically in your opinion? Also how long is the campaign?

well, with the player sheets you can go back and play any window you want and mix&match all of the various things you ulnocked throughtout the game, so i'd say it has way more replicability that most roll&writes. now, if you want to play through the 10 chapter campaign itself (which took us probably around 10ish hours or so to finish as 2p... at higher player counts it would be longer) you could use a little elbow grease and play through in a "non-permanent" way, which is sort of what we had to do so tha i could finish the campaign but then still show the first game as if i hadn't played the campaign at all. it required blutack to stick stickers temporarily to things, it required paperclips to keep track of something that you'd normally write on, and it required a little bit of extra components pulled from other games to replicate what gets unlocked throughout the game that i don't want to spoil (though i will if you ask me to) :)

Do the players sheets come in the box or do you have to buy them separately?

27:42 As of right now, you actually DO have all unique COLORS there… Although I know what you were trying to say, that you have all unique NUMBERS there! And after you realize it was a green and not a blue, you no longer had all unique COLORS in that column (but you still had all unique NUMBERS)!!!

Actually, looking at it now, it looks like the Artisans dice are a lot larger! Can you confirm? Thanks.

yes, they are more 'normal sized' while regular sagrada dice are smaller than average :)

yes but he was just explaining how a snake draft works... obviously if you are playing a 2P game there's no 3rd player!
