oh man! I wish there was an extended play - I'd love to see if Jenn's early move toward the second festival paid off...

I have this one on pre-order and cannot wait to get my hands on it. Thank you for the play through!

2:27 - doesn't the rulebook state that you reveal the rightmost token and not the leftmost? It doesn't matter much as they all get used anyway but strictly speaking.....

This game looks like a lot of fun!

I think that to have 6 matching dice out of 8 is a 0.25% chance. To have 6 4's specifically would be 0.04% (Start by assuming all 4's. 28 ways to choose 2 dice to change, and 25 ways to change them, so 700 possibilities out of the 1679616 arrangements for 8 dice)

i really need to read a basic primer of how to calculate statistics because i just love stuff like this! :)

Well, according to statistics by Terry Pratchett, a one-in-a-million chance will happen nine times out of ten.

Based on it's appearance, I was hoping this game was going to borrow and take Red Cathedral to the next level. Wishful thinking on my part. Thanks for the run through.

Re: goof at 11:56, where is the indicator that those tiles shouldn’t be used in a 2 player game?

that note should be at 16:12 when he draws the new tiles

Hey Rahdo, is this video private? I noticed you had it linked on latest Essen video. But, didn't recall seeing it in my feed. Just tried searching, and it doesn't seem to appear. Great runthrough as always. Looking forward to this one.

A quick search suggests steel was invented long long ago, so yup! Steel is a legit Renaissance term!
@rahdo2 жыл бұрын
well then maybe i was on to something after all!
@adamkuehn85052 жыл бұрын
@@rahdo Well, steel was invented, but it was still very, very expensive to make. It could only made by a skilled smith by hand under just the right controlled conditions. Ironworking was common. Steelworking was not. Certainly steel wouldn't be the equivalent of wool. It would be the equivalent of a rug from a master weaver. It's the difference between a "resource" and a "manufactured good".

One think I don't like this game is that there is too little brown color in it.
