I wonder if it is possible to make the timers shorter so they don’t get knocked over all the time. Or is that supposed to be a silly dexterity element of the game?

Is it right that you each can control all 4 nurses? If so, why does Radho ask Jen to use the nurse to get him pills, etc. when she's busy with something else and it takes longer?

Because Rahdo had a timer on the treatment spot waiting for the pills to finish the treatment. If he moves the nurse to get the things, his previous action ends and has to re-flip to continue his treatment. You are allowed to continue one string of action as long as it is the last action you performed, if you do anything else, any previous action ends
