At 6:19, when you gave up the sloth card b/c the S.A. track was so much longer than the other tracks. That makes sense. However, you also have a lion, and since you already have a big cat, and are only allowed one predator, why not discard the lion? The lion is esp. useless early on if you no longer have to discard a card to introduce a new card, which is the tiger's special ability.

I was just saying that they should get whoever did the artwork for Birds of a Feather to do the artwork for this!! Or even the artist that did Zambezi. Both have beautiful, realistic-looking artwork. Even the artwork for Animals on Board is better than this.

Isn't the idea to play either an introductory game on four continents on the "egg"side excluding the Americas or playing the full game with all on the standard side. Not mixing, making the tracks shorter on some continents than on others.

Yes, he's definitely made a mistake there. The paths would be similar lengths if he hadn't used the introductory sides for four continents. An excellent game though and I'm pleased that it's getting some exposure from Rahdo.

No offence to the game designer. The artwork isn't great. Colours don't pop out at you. It looks like a game that may have been printed in the 80's. Obviously a great idea and so forth, but I think the graphics let down the game.

+landscaperben well, art is subjective. it's all done by the designer's sister Juliet Breese, who has done the art for all of his games for over a decade now, so i imagine he's pleased with it :)

Personally, I love it. Especially her work for Keyflower which is masterful. I enjoy the look of this one a lot as well. It looks charming.
