Thoroughly enjoyed the runthrough, which I watched despite already owning the game, just to see what you think of it. For me it's by far Friedemann's best game. Even though I'd rate Concordia 10/10 I think if I could keep only one I'd keep Faiyum. BTW 33:36 It appears that you *can* build settlements either side of the dam. Page 4 of the rules says "spaces on opposite sides of the channel are always separated." And 40:22 you'd need 3 stone, not 2 stone, to connect the building sites.

@Rahdo what are your thoughts on player count scaling and overall game length? Are the actions variable enough throughout the game to warrant the game length? Just asking not criticizing.

i've heard some folks say the game is too long, but we didn't find that in 2p at least. the game definitely speeds up as you go. we found once you get combos in place, you start running them, which leads to more admin steps to run them again, which hastens the end of the game :)

Yeah this looks awesome, but my one concern is that it could get repetitive towards end game.

I have a doubt: at the 24', Rahdo plays the Superfarmer to get some stone... but doesn't he should place the meeple adjacent to another farmer? Because he put it far from anyone...
