my runthrough for it will be going up in a few days, and they're planning on launching their campaign for it by mid november i think. the game is great at 2p... there'd be a bit more interesting stuff around vying for the #1 spot on the hotness charts for your games, but there's still tension there even with only 2p :)

How hard do you think it would be to just ignore what the rules say and keep playing white castle as a 9 turn game? Sounds like a pretty easy houseruling? Or would that make it feel a bit too loose with all the new options?

i guess in theory it would be fine. the expansion adds 5 new worker placement spots so in theory some sort of method for tightening up the board should be implemented to keep things tighter, but i'm not sure what the right way to go would be.

What a weak month for overlap with you. When I watch these monthly videos, I usually have already pre-ordered (or at least already have in my wishlist) about 80% of the ones that you like (let's say of your top 10 or so each month), and occasionally I will add another one or maybe two after hearing your thoughts, because my tastes align with yours quite often. This month? Only 2 (and a half?): Urbion and Matcha (I'm still considering Trash Rush).

basically about half of the stuff i film in a given month is exclusive for folks who actually support the show on patreon.com or here as members. every month i do a vlog series, q&a, two additional runthroughs, and jen's wrapup video for the games of the month. plus audio podcast versions of everything too. if i was giving all of these away for free, then what would I have to give to the folks who actually keep the show going? :)

@@mariuszkania9947 unfortunately they didn't start sending out review copies until after we left. but they've now sent one to my sister-in-law's house and we'll be trying to swing by her place in time for xmas, so i might be able to get it covered in late dec/early jan. frustrating, but it's the best i can do :(
