I have Ketu in 4th house and Rahu in 10 house. I was forced to leave home for career. I never had emotional support. Love at home was absent. The only diversion I had was at work. I became a workaholic to create a diversion from the dissatisfaction of lack of love and support at home. Yes I am very hard working and I have come up in life with self efforts.

I have rahu in 10th house and what you have described about it ,is almost true I have this incredible optimism in my mind and heart and this unstoppable type of energy and I’m way more disciplined and hardworking than most of my competitors which makes them irritated most of the times but it’s really good for me . however I’m not selfish like you said rahu makes a person selfish maybe it’s because Jupiter is sitting with Ketu in my 4th house . I always feel like I have to do something big so that I can do good for the society in various ways that I have in my mind and I have got this blind faith in god which amplifies all these things mentioned above .
