I have to say, with Rahu in my 8th house pisces D1 and now Rahu in 2nd house in D9 Virgo (I have Virgottema Leo Asc both charts) that I did move through the Spiritual meaning of life and I can sense a shift toward more material life (combining the spiritual with material). I don't have a partner, but find in my mature years, I resonate with D-9 more.

Queston for you: Do you consider the house characterize/rooted in the following way: 1st house of the D-9 to be Sag and on to 2nd house Capricorn,, 3rd house Aquar, 4th house Pisces etc. I find this way to be helpful looking at where the attention is placed.

D9 is the ninth part of D1 which gives the accurate placement at a deeper level...D9 is not equal to Sagittarius it's the ninth part of D1...and if you learn the whole process of obtaining ascendant in D9 you will have clarity ... because ascendant changes in most cases and placement of planets and houses are calculated as per their position in nakshatra that determine their ascendant.
