Rahul Gandhi Delivers His First Speech As LoP | 1st LoP In Lok Sabha After 10 Years | India Today

After 10 years, the Lok Sabha will have a Leader of the Opposition (LoP) as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi assumes the role. The Congress, despite being the second-largest party in the Lok Sabha in 2014 and 2019, could not claim the position as it had less than 10 percent of the total seats in the Lower House.
An opposition party needs at least 55 seats to claim the post of Leader of the Opposition in the 543-member Lok Sabha.
In the 2014 general election, the Congress lost both its ruling status and the LoP position, managing to get 44 seats. I think I can explain Iam sure if his promises make u think it destroys the country then u r definitely from privileged background. He always wanted to voice out for the ones whose voices are not heard. Second I would u one example , the greatest difficulties that was faced in empowering women was bringing them out of their home and giving them them power in their hands. Thats y scheme like free bus for women and money given to under privileged women . About reservation, almost it been 70 yrs reservation implemented still there is no proportional representation y ?. See everyone seem to be developed right then how many famous journalist from sc st and obc it is also very minimum y? Y 90 % don't even have 20 % in media y? If they are not in media how will their voice in society will be heard. In IIT AND IIM only students belong to Sc St and Obc students commit suicides, means only that community students face pressure right. If u have any issue with his policies I think I can explain it better
