Manipur has been burning for the past year, and why has Modi Ji as the PM, or Shah as HM, never visited Manipur so far. Instead of questioning the people in power for their inactions, you are questioning the person who is visiting there to show his solidarity and empathy. Political parties often engage in whataboutery, when they have no defense. But we as citizens should never engage in such conversation, we should hold the government of the day to account. Congress definitely made mistakes in the past. RaGa appears to have doubled down on his on-ground work, which is exactly what he - and most of our politicians - need to be doing. Never lose touch with the people. I would consider RaGa over confident the day he decides he doesn't need to spend time on the ground any more. Gujarat is going to be tough - perhaps impossible - for the India alliance. But I like that they have decided to give it a good fight. Remember, prior to the elections, there were several states they could not cover well, Gujarat being one of them. Even if they lose, it should not be for lack of trying. As an alliance, they can at least form an effective opposition. AAP has also made some inroads into Gujarat

Out of all reports on the rise of rahul gandhi, this programme is one of the best. Real impartial journalism. I agree with Neerja ji's views. Rahul or congress needs to be very prudently cautious on Hinduism. His activism is very welcome. But he needs to control his aggression and channelise the same towards right side. He does speak somewhat, and i repeat, somewhat out of context when his temper rises. He needs to remember that 'miles to go before he can even think of sleeping'. Especially, when he speak of Gujarat he should be careful because even last time only one comment was used by govt against Congress and congress lost decisively. But in the end, Congress (i would not say Rahul, as I don't want to make him larger than life figure) is definitely rising from the ashes and all congressmen plus rational people of the country should support their leader and people as a whole opposition leaders because democracy surives or say flourish on the shoulder of strong opposition. Congress Leaders are trying to divert the core issue of bringing normalcy in Manipur protecting the indigenous Meities and other communities with proper protection of the lntegrity of Manipur state and Integrity of India. The demand of the Meiteis are 1.To implement NRC and to identify the illegal Kuki immigrants and others .2. To bring normalcy in Manipur so that the indigenous Meiteis, Kukis ,Nagas etc can coexist in a normal peaceful life as we have been coexisting since many years but without the disturbance of illegal immigrant Kukis and others coming to Manipur after 1951. 3. To construct border fencing of 398 km long Manipur- -- Mayamar border . 4. Others as submitted by different groups of Meiteis to related authorities and Congress leaders. The main demands of the Kukis are 1. Not to implement NRC and not to identify Kuki immigrants and others. 2. Separate administration or union territory as a settlement of bringing normalcy in Manipur . 3 . Not to construct border fencing of 398 km long Manipur ---Mayamar border fencing. 4. Others as submitted. Congress party is claiming to bring Normalcy in Manipur with political and administrative reconciliation settlement policies . Behind the Screen Congress party is encouraging the demand of the Kukis for a Separate Administration or Union territory, not to implement NRC and not to identify Kuki immigrants and others who are coming to Manipur state after 1951 . Congress is trying to befool the indigenous Meitei and other communities using the English words such as " Reconciliation policies of political and administrative settlement satisfactory to all the people of the state " encouraging the Kukis as if Congress is in favor of granting Separate administration or union territory , ( As in the Congress Manifestos related with North East -- 18th Lok Sabha Election). Manipur violence will not end until and unless the congress leaders stop politicizing the Manipur violence. Double standard statements of congress party ( to respective communities ,Meiteis and kukis) is the act of adding fuel to the fire ( Manipur Violence). Indigenous Meitei and other communities of Manipur will appreciate wholeheartedly if Opposition Congress and other members raise in the Lok Sabha with practical sincere valuable suggestions to bring Normalcy in Manipur with the protection of the indigenous Meitei and other communities protecting the Integrity of Manipur state having only a small area of 22327sq.km. which is less than the half of the area of a District having an area of 45674 Sq.km. (Kachchh District of Gujarat state). Manipur is a tiny Hill State of India. Save Hill State Manipur . Save indigenous Meitei and other communities. Save India. Jai Ima Manipur ,Jai hind.

As for West Bengal we need to get rid of the present ruling dispensation but, would neither prefer the national parties like Congress and BJP and nor the willy guily Communists who are subversives to say the least. So the time hence I'm constrained to say that contributing to the maximum that country named India that our Bengali forefathers have freed ruling the roost over it thereafter is a conglomerate of stone headed upcountry crooks, the methodist downcountry crooks and the profitzcreig westcountry cronies who have made a heavy weather of any value driven political pursuits from that date. So it is the Bengalis who have to choose their future path for regaining their old glory in the country.

There will be push backs if the Congress makes inroads into states where the allies are all powerful. But I think there's a lot of space to grow even in these states and I think that's where the Congress will focus. They will also work as secondary partners until the results of the next general election which maybe as early as next year. Based on the results we will see how the Congress behaves and accepted by it's allies. I think they will not have a problem and I think there will be a merger with the Congress by smaller parties.
