Grandi Rednex...Almeno la dance di quegli anni sapeva divertire ,emozionare .Ai giorni d oggi a chi verrebbe mai in testa di arrangiare un pezzo country in chiave dance?Adesso la dance suona tutta piatta e uguale..i campioni che si utilizzano sono sempre gli stessi.

In realtà, negli USA, il country West (nella sua versione pop, come in questo caso) è diffusissimo. Ci sono centinaia di radio che trasmettono soltanto musica folk, Western e country. Ovviamente, essendo un genere legato alle tradizioni di un determinato territorio, trova poco spazio internazionale a meno che non venga "imbastardito" con il rock o con il pop e/o possa sfruttare la fama di un artista famoso (Es. Madonna, Robbie Williams). Un saluto 🖐️

да, 90-ые были одни из лучших для развития всех жанров музыки, включая, конечно же, house. А Рэд Неки тогда удивили неожиданной синтезированной мелодией и не самым плохим неопопсовым) саундом.

У нас был богатый парень для того времени, и на его кассете нашел их два трека. И мы крутили их на школьной дискотеке) это было нечто, звучание из другого мира. Вообще нечто новое, А ТЕМ БОЛЕЕ для 1991 года! Когда многие их услышали лишь пару лет назад. Даа, сладкие воспоминания!)

I love this song and performance. It makes people happy! The RAI production and cuts are also perfect. Rednex knows that people want to hear the studio version. Cotton Eye Joe was recorded some 30 years ago, but the singer Christian Sterba has been a member some 6-7 years. Still he is lip syncing the oiriginal song, even though he is a great singer. Why? Because people are used to the original, studio version and that is what they get! Still, the girl sings live -great!
