So the noise gate issue has been fixed in future episodes by me turning it off. We identified this issue and it should be fine in future episodes except maybe one that I forgot to turn it off. The Camera issue is my camera overheating and i'm working on a fix for it. It's been really hot in the Netherlands and with the 2 computers in the room its just been cooking me, the pc & camera.

Yeah the noise gate has been a little bit annoying on vids and streams. Prob the best solution just ditching it. Raid series been mega enjoyable so far.

Are you absolutely positive it was the noise gate Pest?? At times it would cut out when you were definitely speaking loud enough, and other time’s wouldn’t cut out when your voice dropped in volume. Not consistent with a gate set too high. Obviously you know best, as it’s your setup. But I’d check some settings. Maybe check connections too.

Have a look at izotope RX plugins or similar for denoising, the RX 7 denoiser is really good, and then you wont have to use a noise gate! Really enjoying the series so far man keep it up, props to Frankie as well, the edits are slick!!

For live productions the noise gate is pretty necessary but for pre-produced content like this there are much more powerful tools in Adobe like dynamic processing that can clean up background noise. I personally have had a lot of heating /noise issues with my computers and moved them into another room with their own cooling setup and ran long cables to my set up (basically set up a server room / rack-room for my computers). I know that your current set up might not be ideal for this but something to think about when you move out of the Netherlands. I'd be very interested to know if you are using a webcam for your facecam for the raid series like with your live stream or if you've upped the production value? if you're still using a webcam and your looking to up id recommend a blackmagic pocket cinema camera. Its a super high quality camera that wont break the bank and you can use it for your fishing streams when the time comes. (They are also designed for movie production so they can run for hours in all types of conditions without overheating and unlike DSLRs they are specifically for video)

Hey pest, as an IT guy I suggested u check your pc if it needs dusting and if the graphics card isn’t getting enough airflow u can open the side panels on your case. Fair warning opening the side panels will require more frequent dusting. Good luck and keep it up

Hearing a fan in the background isn't nearly as bad as not being able to hear what you're saying when it cuts out, and I didn't even notice the fan, but I notice every time you cut out mid sentence. Besides, you've got some top tier editors now, they should be able to add a noise gate in post, fixing the background noise, while still making sure we can hear you.

Worth noting, when your complete a scav raid you can equip items to your main character by holding alt + left clicking. Frees up some space for you

PSA: While 'holding' a finished crafted item in the hideout workbench (or others) is a nifty way to save space, it has some risk in relation to the developers removing certain crafting recipes. Source: Lost items this way in the last wipe.

If background noise is an issue there are ways to sample an audio profile of that background noise and cut it out for that audio track. It sounds complicated but once you learn it, it takes a few mins. Theirs actually a way to do it in real-time too but that is far more complicated and less reliable

To very quickly level Jaeger you can buy thermometers off the flea and sell them to him. Some people will sell for less than he buys, you can level him really quick and lose no more than a few K

I don't know if you have a gate in OBS or if you do it in post, but you might want to consider having it close a little slower, you get cut off by the gate a lot. EDIT: just saw the part where you explain your noise gate. If the options is available you could still slow down the closing of the gate to avoid getting cut off.
