Your fighting has really improved. You will be surprised how good 2h blocking is with perks, and how deadly a sword is when perked out. Power bashing with 2h isn't great, even with perks. Normal basing will stagger most enemies though. - In requiem, never, never, never run out of stamina. At zero stamina blocking is severely debuffed, and weapon damage output is significantly reduced. Zero stamina is almost certain death. - Your calculations about Magica and elemental resistance are correct. It is possible, but it is very difficult to get anywhere near max magic and elemental resist. - One way to get a jump on mages and archers is with scrolls of a spirit wolf. The wolf attacks and distracts your ranged enemy, giving you time to run forward and one-shot them. Also, mages and light armor archers are very vulnerable to arrows, especially when fired from stealth. You are an evasion character, and very likely to get a shot or two off without being detected. - You can buy very good potions of magic and elemental resist. - In fights like this, I would sleep for 24 hours outside to recharge Berserker Rage. At some point you are going to want to play DiD, and in that mode you will want every advantage. - You can take every item here and recycle the armor and weapons into ingots and leather for crafting. Then make a ton of items to level smithing, and then enchant every item. Getting to this location going along the waters edge should fill about 100 soul gems with all of the animals here. You can buy tons of soul gems from the mages in the mages college. Or hit the mines and craft your own soul gems. In Requiem, you want to think about how you can take advantage of everything in your environment.

Small little tip: you can bring up the console (~ key) right when fade-in from load starts, and close it after the game loads. To avoid the damage when you have no control.

Oh, almost forgot: there's a mod that automatically pauses your game during the seconds where the cell is loaded, but you are not (completely). If you dont sneak it all, it's almost mandatory, because the more competent those mages get, the more likely they are to onshot you if you're not at least soft capped on MR and ER. If not oneshot outright, frost and poison have side effects that are death sentences, but with the added cruelty of helplessly having to watch them finish you.

29:34 use a pickaxe not your sword to mine ore manually you dont go into the animation its much quicker. Equip a pickaxe as your weapin and smack the ore vein

I can't speak to its compatibility but there is a mod that pauses when you enter a new cell until you get out of the loading screen so that you don't get killed before you can see anything

The quickest way to mine, is by bashing the vein with a pickaxe. It beats out dual wielding pickaxes, for the price of looking goofy as fuck.

i believe the boss of white river watch has a guarantee fortify two handed gauntlet drop. white river watch is in whiterun right outside the city were the stream has a bridge just cross the bridge n follow the road going north east n you will find a path way up the mountains if you get to valthum towers you went too far

You ever try a modded vampire run? With Vampire Thirst or Sacrosanct, if this mod made this game difficult, being a vampire in Skyrim is extra hard, it only made a little easier when you get Blood Cloak, that give you an hour in sunlight before you began to burn to crisp, at least is enough to sell your loot to the vendors.

You need to attack the ore with a pickaxe, not your weapon. Faster than mining the ore.

You'd sooner die than finish even half of one. :D A proper cheesewheel where I'm from, would be somewhere between 25 and 30 pounds. And I'm from the Netherlands, we get really serious about our cheese. ;)

for quick leveling of Alteration, use Telekinesis, pay for a carriage then use the spell to lift an object while holding that button down get on the carriage then travel to the farthest place you can n boom Alteration goes to 100 instantly. Tolfdir (college of winterhold) has one for sale. there is one for free in redwater Den in riften, i think it's in one of the cells (get caught n put in a cell in that place) that is part of the dungeon

Any thought on getting a follower ? Not only good for being pack mules but I always pick one or two who are different classes than I am so any fight I get into I at least have someone dealing the right damage. Just two followers makes the game quite easy tho so maybe just adding a mage sidekick could be interesting.

The last one I got died mysteriously lol. I think I need to get a horse for them if I do. Seems like they can't teleport with me when I use the carriage system.

@@TheWandererPlays oh right Benor lol, yes the horse will make him be able to stay with you most times. If you ever get to Riften there’s a mage for hire at the tavern he’s quite good. Also wanted to add, you might be better off with heavy armour with your play style. You tend to power attack and tank damage a lot instead of being fast paced and backing off/dodging. You’re still at a place that the change is still doable so might be a thing to consider. Keep up the vids I enjoy them a lot.

Yes. Enough MR provides knockdown immunity from magic/shouts. Heavy armor from physical and poison resistance vs paralysis. The latter is the lost important one for general gameplay, but you really don't want to run into high level draugr without the 50% MR needed. Or you better be prepared to find out how our companions felt all those years for every playthrough where we had learned those three little words we all love.
