I disagree as u can also get unique items from these runs. I think that if there's a higher chance of getting strong gear pieces then all the chests can be removed. Just the ability to target these pieces would be worth it to run these vaults.

It would mean that the chance to get a unique item will be rare and even if u get a 3 or a 9 wave one, chances per wave would be the same. U could skip the ones that have more than 6 but that just means u waste the rocks. Also, does the minimum crates being changed from 4 to 6 make that big of a difference? Like iskall gets like 200 300 chests on random runs and like 600 or 1k on runs that he targets for many chests while it's like 40 here for the entire run. Why do the chests matter here? Why can't it just be to target unique and other armor pieces and just collect it from one spot after the last wave and start a new run quickly instead of running around for a minute and collecting it? Or maybe even just exiting at end and u get all the rewards instantly. Do the 40 chests matter? Even if u got 6 chests all the time u could get a max of 54 chests in a 9 wave vault in 20 minutes or so. Why is it even needed? Ur asking for an increase of max chests from 36 to 54. Do the chests give the unique piece and not the altar? I don't get why people care about increasing crates that u can get in this vault.

@@bowxfire5275 Increase in minimum* I've seen 8 chest rolls, so That increasing to 16 by later waves is a 2x increase in Max chests from 72 to 144, and don't forget you get to pick what kind of chests too. Could be a way to help you get knowledge/gear/jewels if you don't have many catalysts. I agree that the targeted loot is good, but I think you could make t he chests more exciting, and scaling the rewards by wave number would make 9 wave raids pretty hype compared to like 6 wave raids.

I think it'd be more interesting to just remove the chests completely and have only targeted rewards in the raid vaults if the whole idea is to target loot in them. Common rewards instead of being 8-10 ornates, make it 2-4 scrappy+ gear pieces, or instead of 8 living chests, you instead get 1-3 knowledge shards. I think this would create more player agency in a vault that may be a bit more rare to go into and still reward you in a more unique way than other vaults

Maybe each wave could be timed, but you should be allowed to take your time getting all the chests that you've earned at the end and not feel rushed. Doing this change would also allow for a new "infinite" version of raid vaults, where after you beat 3 waves, you can stop and cash in all the rewards that you got so far at any time, or keep going and risk losing all rewards

I'd have to play with this mechanic to be sure since this video doesn't show that much, but I feel like the pillagers aren't fun to combat. When a wave starts it's quite dynamic with all the vindicators, healers, evokers, vexes, ravagers, but once these are dead the pace drops almost to a halt when all that's left are the pillagers. Having to go pick on each one individually looked fairly dull in comparison: you either did slight dodges while waiting for javelin to recharge, or waited for dash to recharge to jump to the next pillager. Adding to that, the room looks really frustrating to navigate, stairs are few and far apart, there are walls and other things in the way absolutely everywhere to get stuck on, probably will be even more frustrating to play than it already was to watch. Felt like 70% of the raid was chasing down the last few pillagers, and to be honest for me it acted like a real turndown. Especially for the kind of rewards this offered. Sure there might be some rare items you typically don't get in normal vaults, but for the difficulty and frankly not enticing pacing, I'm not sure I would want to run one outside of the change of pace it offers. You said these vaults aren't supposed to compete with loot vaults or else they'd become the meta, and I agree to a point, but the issue is that if they don't really have some kind of edge or advantage compared to normal vaults, then they also become part of the meta in the sense that it's never really worth running. I agree the target loot is great, but I feel like you can't just have normal chests in such low quantities in there, as you'd be able to get all the same chests (and even way more) in a just as targeted manner running down a normal vault and only looting specific POIs, without even using the hunter skills or treasure goggles, and it'd significantly easier too since you could build/dig and leave the mobs behind. I'd say to have some quantity of chests by default, and have all the rewards be things that are kinda special. For instance, what if instead of painstakingly building the equivalent of one normal vault room, you built the completion crate directly ? That'd mean you are offered stuff from the completion crate loot table instead of regular chests. The chests could still come as a bonus but they shouldn't be the focus. Another advantage of building the completion crate is that you benefit from that even if you complete the raid with only a few seconds remaining, whereas the chests take a significant time to find and loot (especially given how much decoration the vault room has). The chests could act as extra rewards for managing to complete with time to spare. At least to me, it'd feel much more worth it to be getting reward options you don't see all the time in a normal vault. I really like the bell adding the highlight effect, but how the hell is a player supposed to find that ? Imagining chasing the last couple pillagers down without it feels like it'd be really awful. Also I'd argue the bells should be more easily accessible, I don't know if you can reach them from the ground level but if not, they should. Maybe could have more bells as well. The vault opening animation is awesome! Fitting reward for completing a raid. Although I gotta say the stairs down looked annoying to use and immediately getting stuck on them a few times after the door opened felt a bit anti-climactic haha. The potion not recharging is interesting, although it feels like the kind of thing new players wouldn't know and die to on their first few runs until they realized it was a thing. I wonder if it could be part of the modifiers added each wave instead ? so initially you can use it but as you progress you could occasionally reduce the potion recharge rate instead of making the mobs harder. Speaking of which, the options above the pillars need icons (I believe the braziers have some so maybe it's planned idk), or maybe pause the timer while picking.

This is such a cool concept/beta, I'd love to see a "Infinite" version of this where there is infinite waves and a reward similar to a cake vault. You can select pedestals that adds time to the vault but to finish the vault you potentially select to summon a boss called "The Keyper" that takes on all the affects you selected (mob health, damage, speed) and spawns every mob you've picked so far, then once killed drops you a key to open the treasure room. I feel this could be another rare rock that u can get from the actual Raid Vault called "Keyper's Rock".

From a game designer point of view, I think having the Evoker able to spawn a champion Vex is a good idea. Makes finding WHICH evoker to kill a vital objective, which gives more gameplay to the mechanic of both your champion addition and makes it a heavier thing to consider as a player, as well as the Evoker's spawning mechanic in general.

Being able to place & break blocks, & having potions recharge on the easiest difficulty is a must-have. Also why would increasing the loot make it compete with the meta? I really like the idea of this but I'm unsure of the rewards, while it's a choose your own adventure type, if I'm gonna add a champion to the wave I'd want the reward to be similar to what they drop and I also think having the rewards increase by a fixed amount for every wave you complete would be a good way to scale the risk vs reward, like every completed wave gives the effect of a catalyst, or just include catalysts in the options you choose from, that way you could really target/scale your rewards if you went like straight ornate and ended with 8-9x ornate, that to me would feel a lot better than getting a few of each chest type and some random booster packs. Also the archers spawning on the roof is fine but not everyone uses a feather to get around and that would get annoying really fast especially with everything being unbreakable. Now for the real reason I decided to drop a comment. Dungeons are cool, I love running dungeons but man is it disappointing to encounter any normal-hard dungeon, I like a challenge and I love how juicy and thicc the rewards in an impossible dungeon are, so I would just love it if there was an expertise that could scale the level of a dungeon, maybe even going beyond impossible. And as a side note, the amount of cards you need to juice to make some cards even worth using is a little crazy, like I understand my lucky hit build doesn't need 69% but I really want it for some reason..

L mechanic, the reward is not worth the time you put into it, and fighting the mobs does not look enjoyable or fun. I think you get more reward by just playing the normal vault.

Vault Hunters is going down man...we saw this raid vaults...not worth it at all.. A lot of work put but VH seems worse now than the begining of season...The game is not balanced anymore....cake vaults sooo OP, companion party sooo OP. Some skills way OP...bugs not beeing fixe, SMP members not listened anymore and the list continues...The mushroom assasins still can't see their health...

IMO there is to much in the game. It didn’t need ten more things added to it. It needed to be finished and what was in it balanced properly. There’s to much going on at once and most of it is reliant on RNG. May be good for streamers but bad for casual players.

You are supporting a serial sexual predator. Four victims have spoken out publicly at this point, one has decided to remain anonymous. Long story short, Iskall abused his power imbalance of being a popular youtuber and preyed on and made sexual advances and sexted with multiple women who were amongst his own moderation staff, mod building staff, and fan artists. This got as far as sending images and offering to meet up irl with a few of these women. The furthest back we are aware of that this emotional and sexual abuse goes is throughout the past three years. All while him having a significant other irl who he very clearly was cheating on, but that’s beside the point.
