For the cooking thing, it's two memes together in CN community. One is that the voice actress for Ei and Mei in Honkai is the same person, and Mei is great on cooking. The second is that "I can do nothing". It's related to Honkai story: Bronya: "I can do nothing" Then turned to HoR. Seele: "I can do nothing" Then called her alter out. Mei: "I can do nothing" Then turned to HoT. HoS: "I can do ANYTHING!" Then was beaten and sealed. From then on people knew the keyword to victory in honkaiverse.

I really like this character quest. I wouldnt say its my favourite, but its a good contender. We get to see more of Ei as she tries to figure out what happened during her 'absence'. Her interactions with the people and her reaction to the things they make make it seemed like she was a ruler whos also a stranger in her own country. I think it will help Ei in deciding that the Eternity she promised her people would be the Perserving and Caring kind instead of Unchanging and Permanent kind. Aside that, I actually like the inclusion of NPC this time, because they are actually interesting and they actually have connections to the already established characters. Not just random nobodies forcing fetch quests on you. Never thought Id actually be rooting for an NPC but that did indeed happen

Apparently isekais have been a trend in JP anime these days, like I reincarnated to a vending machine, also Venti mentioned that Raiden Shogun's weakness is desserts! Man, I can only imagine if Ei discovers yaoi, just like the fanart of Kokomi encouraging Ayaka to read yaoi fanfics of Ayato and Thoma. I bet she would freak out while reading so much books about Yaoi in her Plane of Euthymia. About Teppei: I think a lot of people missed the part where, after you leave to the Delusion factory the description of the mission mentions "Teppeis death" (I don't remember the full line). Of the Aloy Collected Miscellany, got a theory on why Dain didnt narrate it - He supposedly has knowledge of fate (likely regarding with his role as Bough Keeper) but I'd guess that the Irminsul Tree doesn't have knowledge of Aloy's fate (or Lumine/Aether aswell) so an "omnipotent" traveler like Alice would make more sense Just a theory anyway

Ei is dope and cool. But one thing I don’t like about her is that she rules over her people with fear. Yes people are suppose to respect her because she’s an archon and she protects them but at the same time the way she treats her people is sometimes cruel. It’s understandable that the kojou clan did a bad thing but she didn’t have to beat him down like come on man. And after that she threatened them that she would kill them if this happens again. She shouldn’t be telling her people that she would kill them over a minor issue. She should only say that in major situations like the fatui but saying that to your own people is not right. I just don’t like the way she treats her people. She could be cool to other people but in my opinion, it’s just not right. And Ei still hasn’t apologized to everyone in inazuma, that her robot literally killed kazuha’s friend. I haven’t even seen her go up to Kazuha and apologize. I just don’t like how she’s been sitting in the plane of euthymia for centuries, meanwhile her robot is killing people. And she comes out of the plane of euthymia and the first thing she does is threaten to kill someone. There’s a difference between respect and fear. It’s not right for your people to constantly be afraid of you.

Ei was setting an example if kamaji just said she dare challenge Ei and Ei goes like "see hes brave enough unlike you" the other person would be like "bruh if only saying words i can do that" to avoid this she choose to fight him proving that kamaji really does have the bravery to fight for his clan and remember she treatens them by saying if they ever tried to use the fatui trick of deceiving her she would punish them is to set an example of what would happen if they did betray her since deceiving your ruler is the same thing as betrying them so it was quite realistic acttualy also about the apology well she was supposedly already done that by now after you done her story quest its just that we didnt see her do it but if we look at kujou sara voice line it could quite proof she did say an apology since she said that she admit that the shogun take the wrong path at the vision hunt decree and if we look at sara personality if Ei thinks something is right Sara would most likely think it is also right and if Ei thinks something is wrong Sara would too
