they did that in chapter 1 and got so much hate, they did it because of the ping advantage, because not all players could still a wall within the first try.

In chapter 1 season 10 (season x), they changed turbo building back to its old values, which made building three times slower, from 0.05 seconds between each build, to 0.15 seconds between each build. Epic received a lot of back lash so like 2 days later they reverted the change. No need to nerf building anymore, since there’s zero build now.
