Yeah, Jalen Guyton tore his ACL in 2022 and then dealt with further complications in 2023 stemming from that injury, which kept him on PUP until November. It would be cool to see him get back to his 2021 form, but I have a feeling either Tulu or Dj Turner beats him out on the 53 for that 5th wide receiver spot because of special teams.

I love that Marcus has such a philosophical take on watching Herbert film!!! Speaking as a medico, I agree with Matt in that it looks as though Guyton still wasn’t trusting his knees to hold up under the strain of the sudden deceleration and direction change required to properly sell those routes back to the inside. If that tape was from the first year back after the ACL repair it kinda makes sense. You would want to see a big improvement in his own confidence for this year otherwise those change of direction issues would persist.
