Rich Gannon was similar to Gardner Minshew when coming to the Raiders. Came into a team with great weapons and being a Journeyman QB no one looked at as a starter. Rich got his opportunity with us and became the QB we remember. It's still early I'm not say Gardner Minshew will do the same thing but he could. He has a lot of similarities in his ability to create and scramble.

Yup...Gannon came in 1999 learned Gruden's Offense on the Fly got us an 8-8 record and made Pro Bowl...the following 3 seasons led us to AFC Titles and took us to SB. Raiders looked good. The only thing that needs to be changed on offense is Zamir White. The Raiders badly needs to get Zamir out in space catching passes. Zamir needs to be used along with Brock Bowers to punish those skinny corners. Attack those corners by punishing them with every tackle and they will soften and tire so Davante, Jakobi, and Bowers can have their way. Get Zamir going in open field with that power running and watch the entire offense catch fire 🔥. By not running Zamir in this way we are giving our opponents a break. Don’t give them breaks!
