The reason is not the man, but the position.... or rather the value attached to the position. Polamalu left his mark in an era where there was more value assigned to the position. As the game evolves and the rules change, the positional value naturally follows suit. Now that we are deep into a "pass happy" era, the value of the RB position has plummeted. The same is true of the kick returner position due to the changes in the kickoff rules. That said, the HOF voting will echo the same. Eventually, the Hitman will be inducted, but not first ballot.

It is illegal for Michigan to have people associated with the program in any way go to upcoming opponents games. Scouting like this is illegal in cfb and why they are in alot of trouble currently. The ncaa has already seen this and its already a concrete infraction when that same guy is on sidelines talking to coaches about the plays. Hes also been confirmed to be at several games including recently having tickets near the osu/psu benches last Saturday. Except he decided not to go this past week with everything going on. They seem to be in alot of trouble and only more has been coming out It has nothing to do with osu crying over wins or whatever other team. Thats a bs fan take. Its all about integrity of the game. Regardless of what school is doing this scouting or how successful they are. Everyone should be really upset with this. Remember they arent allowed to have technology in their helmets so the signs have to exist to call plays. Its dumb for sure and will absolutely change soon because of this incident.
