City of God and The Green Mile are pleasant surprises here. Clearly people aren't watching many films before the 90s, let alone 50s. No Lawrence of Arabia, Citizen Kane, 10 Commandments, Spartaucs, 2001, Apocalypse Now, The Graduate, Cuckoo's Nest, Exorcist, Shining, Gone With the Wind, Wizard of Oz, 8 1/2, Mulholland, Schindler's List, Crouching Tiger, Roshoman, or Old Boy, to name a few. And the second most impactful film ever is in the 20s (Star Wars)? The most impactful - Gone With the Wind.

Harakiri ranking lower than The Usual Suspects, The Prestige, etc is outrageous. And Pulp Fiction ahead of Seven Samurai & M is...Sight and Sound has a more accurate list.

IMDb is more of a list for people who like being entertained, but yeah Sight and Sound is more closer to a list for filmmakers. I don´t usually consider a list ¨accurate¨ considering that movies are fundamentally subjective. For example, a majority of filmmaker lists have Citizen Kane as the greatest movie of all time, whereas I do personally hold The Godfather in higher regard over it. Stuff like that.
