one thing i love from This season is, a regional champion challenge match are usually shown only in brief intro of the new pokemon movies. now, we had full portion of matches shown albeit kinda short in each episodes, hope by the time ash reach master ball tier, the rules changed to 6 0n 6.

Honestly after this lackluster battle, I hope Raihan and Ash battle with it being epic. The AMV is great, ngl, just the battle was not that exciting. I feel Raihan needs redemption and perhaps he can give Ash his 2nd loss since I sense one coming pretty soon.

Sage Blast I mean even in the games a vast level difference makes type matchups irrelevant. In the anime, levels translate to that Pokémon being “stronger” or more experienced, since they don’t ever discuss levels. Therefore, the more experienced or “stronger” Pokémon can overcome type disadvantage This season of the anime has been spot on with immunities too. Ghost being immune to fighting and normal, ground to electric. So if anything, this season has been significantly better

Not really... he used steel beam, which hit charizard hard, but uses half his heath (if we translate the game logic to the anime). Another attack would have knocked out raihans duraludon. If anything, it’s supposed to show that charizard tanked a steel beam relatively easily

@@kojoe27 Are you tryna defend Leon? I made a very specific point, as Raihan was indeed winning before he Gmaxed, as he did way more damage. He hit charizard with 3 decently powerful moves, metal claw, steel beam and STONE EDGE (last move I'm pretty sure was iron defense) and even with steel beam "recoil" duraludon would've still sustained less damage. While charizard hit a dragon claw and dig, and tried and failed to hit a flamethrower. As for lance, I don't even know how he lost. We've seen in the anime that dragon dance is a very strong move (watch the galar version of Ash vs. Korrina to see why) and he hit an aqua tail plus ice fang after he did one.
